Maybe if the price was super right .. but I've just got this new convertible and getting rid of the Miata. Wife will do some trips in it not like the Miata or motorcycles. Last bike trip she was on was 2010.

Wow, that looks like it's going 100 while standing still.. Sweet! Drooling over the Quat D exhaust too. I would want to know if it has the possible exploding clutch issue before buying.

I had those reverse cone mufflers and the sound was kind of raspy, not completely bad but gave it a sort of nascar sound. They look the best tho.. cant tell if the Sport has pod filters? That would be a negative for me. the Lemans looks nice I don't like the can muffler look but not much choice available. And you can go wrong with a black motorcycle for color.

Scurra clutch

Nero has Ohlins and a checkered paint scheme on the tank. Top choice for those in the know. not sure what year but some Scurra had the exploding clutch, I'd stay away from that. Price way too high. if the Sport is a Greenie they are the best looking (of all Guzzi's?) Black "might" be the rarest color.

What Puil said, if there's too much grease the shaft pieces wont compress until you let some grease out, I had to take the zirk off to let some out. Then learned not to grease the center zirk when the axle wheel not in place. I have a nice used driveshaft complete from a Centauro . if you can determine they are the same, I'll sell it.

Paul, does that mean a triple clamp from an EV would also fit? I have a complete EV fork that I couldn't find a buyer for so can take that off.

I've had a couple dozen Guzzi, mostly Tonti but did have a 2002 Lemans so I'm well versed in them, doubt there's another member around my location with more knowledge. Not saying I'm an expert but I think I can asses the bike myself.

That would look real nice on a Black Sport, if I get it at the end of April.

I may want to keep the original stock and not drill it. So the next owner would have option to return to as it came from the factory. just thinking ahead, I don't even have the 01 Sport yet.. that in mind are there any luggage racks, bag mounts available? Also, is there a chance to find a Stucci type fairing?

Docc, I don't have any more info just a fuzzy pic. The owner is well off and down in Florida till late April. He has an RSV and 850t turned into a sweet V7 replica that money was no issue wHen built. He takes care of his stuff but all of them have low miles, I don't know how low. It's said he wants to sell them all in one deal which I probably can't swing so not sure I'll even get the chance to buy. I'm just trying to be prepared when the time comes.
