I made another short one for you guys this morning before going riding,

I like it! sort of.. and to really turn you off it comes w/ optional automatic clutch. as for the UGLIEST bike ever? the Stelvio still holds that title.

very tasteful! I'm on a zero budget but have the starting to a new hot rod project. I could do Convert or 5 speed running gear.. I need a motor and electronics.. and EV wheels.. has anyone mounted the older Boranni's to the EV platform?

actually I'm not.. I know the knob on the bottom is rebound setting but I have never adjusted the spring preload w/the spanners.. it seems to me you'd need to pull the tank off then make a change.. if that isn't satisfactory you have to do it all over again? and again till it's right? that's all I'm asking.. I'm 150 pounds and I think it's still at the stock setting, where should i have it for my weight? Like I said, no complaints with the way it rides now, in fact this is the sweetest Guzzi I have had out of about 6.

I don't really have any complaints w/my 02 Lemans.. I have about 1/2" of sag.. do i have to remove the tank to do the spanner adjust? ie, that is at the top of the shock? what is the dial on the bottom of the shock?

how does it idle? maybe your TPS is out of whack?

my miss was at 4200 but it went totally away when i put on a Mistral crossover.

my 02 Lemans has the 5.5 rim w/ 180x55 Diablo.. I love the Pirelli's.. but should I go with a 170 next time? I'm getting a flat spot in the center from a lot of highway riding.. would that be reduced w/a 170?

when was the last time you adjusted the valves? most of us do crack the throttle at start up, that's normal. the CPU gives it a rich mix at start up. the pump does not have a stop valve, the regulator keeps pressure up when running with the excess fuel returning to the tank, can you hear it refilling the tank while at idle?

that happened to me once but the plates didn't completely break into two pieces.. would you say poor design or bad material choice? I just did a clutch job for a friend, 20,000 miles on a 1973 V7 Sport.. there was plenty of meat left on the friction plates but the splines were worn, like they had never been lubed? the input gear looked fine. He admitted to holding the clutch lever in at stop lights, that cause it? I made a special compression tool from a spare 5 speed input gear and a long bolt w/washer.. the alignment of the clutch was perfect and the tranny slipped back in place with ease!

none of my 3 kids has much interest in motorcycles... that's fine w/me.. I've been to enough emergency rooms w/them for a lifetime.

I have most of the centauro parts but it doesn't look like the switch will be a very good fit, have not tried it yet... you should give the stock pegs a good long try unless your legs are really long.. I'm 5'11" and they fit me Ok.. the bar risers is a great idea, I got mine from a friend who made them.. by all means buy the Nero.. it's (in my mind) the finest Guzzi ever produced!

my spring is fine so far, 14,000 miles. BUT I do carry a new one along w/a tubeless patch kit.. hope I don't ever need either. I need a centerstand.
