I wonder if the radiator (oil cooler) could have a pin hole leak that sprays a mist out when you running? or same thing from the feed or return line?

my motor is wet around the same area.. I thought it was the timing cover gasket weeping.. the oil level never seems to go down tho.. I ride it w/no worries till I get the energy to fix it. so do you suppose the in frame breather has a leak?

I have not had any worries about the shift spring since I put a new one under the seat.

I have never had that trouble by just loosening the out most thread that bolts it to the tank.. could you take it off, tighten the joint then tighten to tank w/19mm spanner then hook it up at the joint farther down the hose near the FF?

do you still have the stock crossover? theres a couple aftermarket x-overs that can improve that stumble.. do a search.. no you don't need to re-flash anything. start with valve adjustment, then get into the TPS (do a search) and balance the throttle bodies.also find your way to guzzitech.com and http://wildguzzi.com...x.php?board=1.0 see ya there!

That's so cool, just a few weeks ago my wife say's "you need to get another Bassa" and "I can't ride that Lemans" I told her there is a seat under the cover but never rode her on it. So then i remember this Bassa f/s in the North Dakota hinterland w/a reasonable price.. I check it out, he's had " a lot of calls" but no takers cause of shipping costs.. I tell him "A five hour (each way) drive is nothing to me, I'll be up as soon as I can scratch up the funds" So I brought this home.... 3484 miles and spotless... I'll trade those really nice mufflers for a backrest and or seats.... I have some Staintunes... But I get to keep the V11!!!

I solved the problem by bringing this home, I still need to get a seat re-build AND a backrest.. any of you have one of those Jardine AM rests for sale?

no they are break away nuts.. that is once the factory installs them they break the top off as some kind of anti theft idea.. so there are no hex sides.. I had to use a vice grips to get one off after the other one loosend and fell off. you can replace them w/regular nuts (13mm?).

tire balance, maybe you threw a weight off?

seriously, get a Convert! you wouldn't even need a clutch lever. but keep the V11 for FUN! looks like a SP 1000 but this in my EV powered Convert.
