"Stand up bass!" Here's a guy that connects the dots between basso profundo with lots (and lots) of spruce . . .

Happy Griso!

I am here to say, the right wingman matters!

I checked with a Moderator who replied if images of a custom faired Griso are: A. Allowed B. Recommended C. Welcome D. Desirable E. All of the above . . . ✔️ E.

No Marabese dream-bikes, I suppose . . .
-
The Centauro only made sense to me after Luciano Marabese said he "drew it after the Dondolino" . . .
-
Realize the later models are largely Rodolfo Francoli designs within the firm , Marabese Design. Both the Centauro and the V11 Sport look to be exclusive to Luciano, himself. Not to diminish the interesting question! Or the discussion to follow . . .
-
Luciano Marabese would certainly approve of efforts to "tidy" the tail of his V11 design. From the excellent AnimaGuzzista interview, September 2002: Marabese: "Ma ha visto quel’ quel paracadute di portatarga che han messo sul codone del V11? Ma quello me l’han piazzato dove fuggono tutti i flussi d’aria. Un semplice pezzo montato a caso che poi ti leva 4 cavalli alla moto!" [" But did you see that plate holder parachute they put on the tail of the V11? But that was placed for me where all the air flows escape. A simple piece assembled at random which then takes 4 horsepower off the bike!"]

Steve posted this ebay.UK link for that light ("Doesn't post to the US" - not sure about Canada): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133573248578 I found this one on ebay.US ("ships from Hong Kong"): https://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-21-LED-Motorcycle-Bike-Rear-Tail-Brake-Light-License-Number-Plate-Lamp/112359565862?epid=574992695&hash=item1a2926ea26:g:B7sAAOSwCU1Yq7de Perfect fit for the V11, but like a lot of LED tail lights, the sides (and top) are dark.

Wendy Pirsig has donated the Super Hawk to the Smithsonian. "Bob’s philosophy explored human values, and he aimed to show how quality is actually at the center of all existence,” Wendy Pirsig says. “It seems consistent with this focus on quality that his motorcycle collection joins the nation’s exemplary history museum at the Smithsonian.” https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/cycle-zen-art-and-motorcycle-maintenance-comes-smithsonian-180973836/ [Not exactly "breaking news" as the Smithsonian article is a year old, but it's the first I've heard of it.]

This picture does not do this V11 justice. I had the privilege of seeing this magnificent Tenni at the South'n SpineRaid and that's the tightest tail on a V11 ever. Unless you go back to that early Rev-mag photo shoot . . .

Let me repeat your question to @Meinolf regarding his latest map and the 15RC.
-
I recall a fabricator talking me out of a "rib" (or a "web") and the bracket failed. At a bad time (as always). It wasn't a V11 canister hanger, but if the question is, "Add a rib?" You have my yes. Overkill? Better than underkilled . . .

Thanks, PeterT! It always fascinates how commonly issues turn out to be something as simple as a weak connection. But nothing's really free and I expect the forum members will gang up on you for some pictures of your Trofeo . . . Welcome, Sir, and thanks again for the excellent technical post!

I caught wind of a Tekno set that "may" come available near you. Sure, they ain't purdy, but they'll get you to a South'n SpineRaid!
