Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.)
You did what ??????? with the dry ice..... you know sand blasting - this is blasting with dry ice, it blasts away any resistances like oil, dust etc, then evaporates. So you don!t have to tear the engine apart to pieces. dry blasting on Wiki and you see the result

Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.)
Do you own or rent the equipment to do this? This looks like the way to go......... unfortunatelly not I always use some local workshops, I believe you should have some nearby you also! It is used for cleaning various products, from kitchen and medical equipment to restorations of old "things" and ect. It is not expensive anyway, 2 Guzzi engines, 2 trannys, 1 final drive and I payed 170€

Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.)
I haven't run it, this is the Sport I bought from older Guzzista on ebay in Germany His symptomes were "bit louder 5th gear" Don't know what he has been running, he claimed that Guzzi was serviced on regular basis... But I don't blame him, he is one of the "technical type"...
Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.)
so finally some progress, new gearbox installed (helical gears) the tank has to be re-welded as the mounting bracket is damaged. Also some big load of gaskets, orings and all the stuff from Stein-Dinse is on the way. Meanwhile some photoshoping. Still not convienced about the fairing. will keep you posted.
