Oberon Billet Fuel Filler

Usually they are like a quarter turn (or less) and then they pop out. Typically they do not hinge. I like that they don't require a key, but to others that might be a negative.

Oberon part number 0421 listed for Aprilia and Triumph fits the V11

Thanks for the data, which makes it easier to find other compatible fuel caps. This site shows all the bikes that the Oberon 0421 will fit:

Too bad they don't have all-black...

I've been casually eyeing a couple options by Driven Racing. With Driven, you buy a base to fit your bike, then choose a color cap and buy that separately. Thanks to Steve, I know what bike to pretend I have when placing an order.

that is sweet! cost a lot? other colors?

Cost £80 and there's a choice of colours inc all black, one small issue the rubber seal around the outside won't fit in as there's not enough gap with the Oberon,

Phil, will the seal fit in on the MC kit?

so the Moto site offers black/red or black/gold, but in the description says they are available in all colors, including silver outer ring. Of course, that would be the ideal combo for me, silver ring/gold cap. The search is on. The ebay one is quite a bit cheaper, with a silver/silver option. and Lucky Phil's endorsement! hmmmm....

Checked one of the later non chin pad tanks I have and I recon if you ease back the paint a little inside the cap hole in the tank and grease the seal it will fit.

Failing that I would turn a millimetre off the cap OD and call it done

Ciao
