Thanks guys!

I have two featherbeds, the slimline with the pre-unit 650 Trumpet in it [and close-ratio Norton box], and my wideline which has a Norton twin in it, but not the original engine. I love them both and I do think the featherbed frame is still a reference point for judging good handling and roadholding. The Triton is the quicker of the two [neither motor is standard] but the all-Norton bike is very sweet-running, and not slow!

Kanoa...If Ive said it once Ive said it a million times... the red framed silver V11 Sport is one of the nicest looking Moto Guzzis ever made. And the Magni only serves to highlight that. Love yer bike

Is the seat a Corbin? Covered in suede?

BTW...I used to live in Brooklyn (60 - 63), just outside of Ft. Hamilton. Attended St. Patrick's Elementary School. Ha...lotta good that did me :rasta:

hey guys, thanks for the kind remarks. and good hearing from a bk native! the seat is indeed a shaggadelic suede corbin number, i scored it off ebay last year. it is quite comfortable, but unfortunately reserved for sunny days only. i really love the retro look of the magni, but it requires the bars to be verrry low. here's my flickr set for more guzzi-porn.
