  1. It's been 5 years since my Corso passed away. I miss having a dog. I picked her up a couple weeks ago, she's a 2 month old "Blue" Cane Corso. My God, I got a refresher course on what Hell Raiser's little puppy's can be :/

  3. We always had rottweiler's, the reason for side car. Now the son is taking over. Rossi has been, let's say a handful, 13month and 53kg. 3 dead dogs in front of God waiting for entrance. God asking the german sheperd, what have been your goals? disiplin, training and loyal to the master. Ok, on my right side. God asking the puddel, your goals? Love, care from my master and piece in the world. Ok, on my left side. God looking at the Rottweiler asking the same question. Rottweiler saying,,, your standing in my place. Cheers tom. 5. Has everyone who ordered a Roper plate received it in good condition? Just making sure nothing fell through the cracks. I have 4 remaining.

  6. Don't have much experience with Ti cans, but I just cut into a Satintune can trying to repair it. They used stainless steel wool for the packing pretty sure its 434 alloy just slightly magnetic. Water is a by product of combustion and combustion is never complete so you end up with products like carbonic acid or nitric acid its not just a heat issue. They ended up using about a #3 grade. I wouldn't use stainless steel wool directly against your Ti skin but make a hybrid packing. Lay some lateral strips to build up the oval shape and use your old winding to finalize it. The old packing doesn't look that bad just clean it up with some dawn dish soap. Let it soak a couple days and rinse. No offense but there is not much stoichiometry happening there, its not burnt its probably just soot. One thing I did find interesting when I cut into the Satintune can is the lack of packing material right where the perforated tube entered the muffler. It was definitely about an inch and a half that was bared. It was there for a reason why I don't know. I never heard the Ti cans but when you pull the db killers out of the Staintune its about the most perfect sound I can imagine for the V11.

  8. I’ll take one. Good timing, as I’ll be fixing one of the stripped sump bolts if the sun and warmth ever returns to NE Ohio. Just sent you the PayPal. Not to hijack the thread, is there any easy way to check the other sump holes to see if they are near stripping? Besides over torquing them, of course. Thanks Bob Maynard

  10. And the prize goes to Shaun! Well done that man! Got the bike out today and had the screech back again. I then noticed that the lights were dimming as soon as I touched the clutch lever along with the screech.... WTF I thought and then saw the poxy starter button was stuck in. The clutch lever switch was engaging the starter! Came back on here to post the update and saw your post!

  11. Not so much “V11” as it’s gear...but I’ve always wanted a pair of some bad ass Daytona boots. That now can be scratched off the moto bucket list.... Updates forthcoming...just know I’ve been swamped with work/personal health issues blah blah blah... Happy New Year to everyone!

  12. I'll have to look for that. But with that said, given the reports of good results on this forum with the ridiculously priced Harley paint, I figured I'd suck it up and go with the known entity. No regrets - if you put any value on your labor for the prep and painting, and look at the cost of the bike - the cost of the paint is pretty inconsequential - whether it's $21, or $6, or free, for that matter. I remain very pleased with the outcome on my bike. To me - it was like a wart on the nose of a supermodel - the overall package may be good, but your attention keeps being drawn to the wart. I'm really glad my bikes wart is gone...
