  1. I'd love to come if my Daytona's new motor is finished by then.
  2. I did a similar thing with my old Rossa Corsa. I protected the sensor in a small open plastic cylinder I found in the garage- not sure if this was necessary. I also bought a length of breather hose to extend the breather that normally goes to the airbox. Left the side panels off because it looks nicer and you can get easy access to shock. You may get slightly less mid range power but it's not significant. Make sure get really big filters- can't recall the model number I'm sure you can Google it.
  3. I'm sure a good time was had by all but reminds me why I like to go in late June when it's warm and quiet with no queues. I really dislike that Racer thing with the tin foil on the tank.
  4. I've got ten quid on England to win Four Nations Rugby League at 13-2. Final is in 30 mins against Australia unless there's an upset I may as well flush the tenner down the toilet.
  5. I understand there are only 150 tickets so best to snap em up quick when they go on sale. Ladies and gentlemen from outside the UK don't need a ticket and can pay on the gate but let me know if you are coming for sure and I will inform organisers. Guy
  6. When I worked in Newcastle a few years back I used to stay in a hotel next to the Metro Centre. It was often full of Norwegians fresh off the ferry buying loads of "bargains".
  7. Have they reinstated that crossing? I know they stopped about three years ago- great if its back on again.
  8. Your correct in one, why does nobody at Guzzi see the beauty of the V7 sport in Large engine and not the bored out V50 Yeah the new ones are like silicone tits- plasticky and not as nice as the real thing.
  9. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. I think the Griso is one of those machines that looks much nicer in the flesh rather than when pictured. Best looking Guzzi for me is the original V7 Sport.
  10. Maybe they can shut the road and have a twisty sprint race there.
  11. I had a 1000S for 5 years in my twenties and sold it after riding a Ducati. Should have kept it but I had a similar lust for speed. Yes I regret it now but I enjoyed the Ducati for another five years then went back to Guzzi again.
  12. Big demand for used V11s so be brave in your asking price! But then again if you dont need the cash dont rush into it or you may regret it! Guy
  13. Imagine the noise as they all climb up the hill from Eau Rouge!
  14. Have you heard about NABD? Great organisation who are used to giving advice and or support for modifications like you need? http://www.nabd.org.uk/adaptions/javaindex.htm
  15. Seems to me he is deliberately creating panic so he can buy stocks cheap while everyone sells. Scumbag.
  16. Nice one! Please share the pics and info when you have finished. Be interested to hear how you get on with the Jeffries ECU thinking of buying one for my Daytona project. Cheers Guy
  17. I'm guessing that it's either a Centauro or Daytona motor which will fit the spine frame.
  18. I'm sure with all your power and influence you can arrange for Ireland to be towed further south, maybe down as far as Portugal. Great weather but you better warn all the gingers to keep covered up.

  20. I rode Mal's Centauro 250 miles the other day and I must say the top end is very impressive. Very different in character to my Stelvio which seemed smoother and less rustic than the Centauro. I like the earthy feel of the early 4v motors- so much so that I've just bought Gyles's (RIP) Thunderbikes racer- a Daytona RS which is being made roadworthy again with a 1225cc motor.
  21. Gonna make a great bike even more special.
  22. If you get no luck there then Gutsibits are breaking a V11 Le Mans.
