  1. No manufacturing marks that I could find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks to Rox LeMans for the fairing! It fits perfectly. I did learn the Scura brackets are handed. And you know I know this because I got it wrong the first time... I can wait to get it out and try it. Plus the fairing hides the scratches on the instrument pod! The brake reservoir mount had to be tweaked to clear the fairing. Oh, and unless you have teenie hands like me make sure you install the screen first! And lastly I had the perfect bolts for the headlight. The original ones, I assume original, were rusty hex heads. And too short to mount the fairing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. John, the worse thing I've done is show up a bike night so tired I forgot to put the side stand down. You can guess what happened next. I'm just glad I've never had a high speed get off. Yet. Thank you for the offer. I'm going to try to find a matching peg or the Monster ones. I wouldn't be surprised if some day I'll ask you about the lowering pegs. 4. I'll worry about if I ever get pulled over by a fed. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm going to limp home now and access the damage. First on the body and then on the bike.
  6. Portland drivers don't see as many bikers as drier parts of the country and are less attentive when you are around. If I could tow around a marching band I doubt it would get their attention. While I don't like the flashing headlights I don't mind flashing someone my brake lights. Today was ironically the first time that I rode with the new brake light and it was nice to see people keeping back when I was braking. I saw the same thing when switching to a LED headlight on my other bikes. It's different so they pay better attention.
  7. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Left-Right-Front-Footrest-Foot-Pegs-For-DUCATI-Monster-696-796-2009-2014-10-11-/221714910393?fits=Make%3ADucati%7CModel%3AMonster+796&hash=item339f3d0cb9%3Ag%3Ay14AAOxyf1dTH%7E1V They look very similar but don't have the dragging nut at the bottom. Not that I ever what to be dragging pegs! But for that price I"m not going to complain!
  8. That would be awesome! Let me know! I'm just lucky I didn't have the new fairing on. That would have crushed me. It should be sitting at home when I get there.
  9. Why would you want a non-flashing one?
  10. I'm surprised the footpeg didn't fold up. Bend it back or get another one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. X-rays clear. Just going to be sore for a little while. Not use to those brakes. Even the ones on the Triumph wouldn't do this. The lever was banged up from a previous wreck. Same with engine guard. Bar end weight has a good scratch. Not going to replace everything until I think I won't end up on the ground again.
  12. I was downtown Portland going to a volunteer event for special needs kids. I was trying to find parking when someone backed up in front of me. I grabbed too much brake and went down at walking speed. I'm at urgent care now. Collerbone hurts. Bike is going to need some help too. Turn signals. Foot peg didn't fold, it bent. Now I know why they have those engine guards! More pics later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I haven't looked yet to see if there is an error code. It's cold enough here that it takes a while to warm up the bike...
  14. As I mentioned my TPS thread (this is probably a better place for it) is that it won't let me set the CO Trim. I'm following all of the instructions but when it goes to finish and I bring Guzzidiag back up it at the old numbers (33). I saw somewhere that if you have an error code you can't reset the CO Trim until you clear the code. Anyone else have this problem?
  15. All the relays i repleace for omron 5 pin - not charging again. It is caple, voltage regulator or alternator. Or all the things in the same time Did you check the wiring as suggested before? Especially the grounds?
  16. There is no save button. Need a picture after you install the wheel chock. It really holds the bikes well, but I still use straps especially when lifting.
  17. This thing is wicked bright. Might be too bright for a train.
  18. This might be the cheapest and easiest way to wake up those cagers. I picked this up off eBay. The last one I got from superbrightleds was twice as much and not as bright. https://www.ebay.com/itm/291936498074 docc edit/ link update 4/2022: https://www.ebay.com/itm/331016499391?epid=1559123411&hash=item4d121ef0bf:g:3EgAAOSwhedhk~FI https://youtu.be/jIn2g3c38PI Crap this is bright. No way some half-awake-haven't-had-my-coffee driver is going to miss this. Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. What does the shock thing do that sits above the starter? Doesn't the same key work on your Guzzi? Mine does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I actually used my helmet lock once. I might use it again!
  23. Is that right for the later bikes? I assume Judael is taking about his Stelvio.
  24. What's wrong with the helmet lock? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Seat release is on the other side of the bike.
