1. More info: You can check the Touring Camp home page, which is also available in English and German: MC Touring Club Cheers Søren
2. Howdy Ben! This topic has been flogged to death more or less over the last year or so. Here's a couple of threads: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4308 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4274 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4305 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4232 (read only the first page, afterwards in turns into a beer contest!) http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4221 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4071 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=918 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4068 http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4022 (specifically about ECU's) http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...c=4022&hl=my15m (about 15m ECU) http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...c=2145&hl=my15m http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...c=3741&hl=my15m (more on the same topic) http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...pic=4152&st=315 (the mother thread of all ECU threads) http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...c=2145&hl=my15m (and that's all for now, ok?) Some say you can't live without a PCIII, some say it's just another gadget so it's more or less a matter of your own perception. I'm about to purchase a PC III along with a complete Fast by Ferracci kit (CF cans, x-over pipe, special airfilter). This should keep you busy for the next 10 minutes or so.... Good luck Søren
3. "Is this useful?" Yes Sir, indeed it is Thanks Paul! S¨øren
4. I have covered close to 10.000 kms/6.000 miles on the OEM BT 020 and there's still plenty of wear left. My riding habits are like Martin's. Nonetheless I'll change to Pirelli Diablos now for the start of the season (one season=one pair of tyres) as it seems that these tyres are the ones that everybody is recommending. Søren
5. 3000,- $?? You can get a secondhand bike for that.... Phew! But aren't they just lovely? Good luck, Zeb (and don't rob a bank in order to afford it, ok?) Søren
6. If you ever run for president, Staedtler, I'll vote for you! Søren
7. ... and thanks to you for sharing the info + photos Do you have a curve for the Ballabio? Cheers Søren
8. Thanks for sharing the photos, Zeb Regarding Jaap's remark it's also my believe that most Euopeans are not so happy about flashy items like the anodized bits shown. I watch the Orange County Chopper (OCC) Teutel Freak Show every week (just can't resist), and those guys are just crazy about anything that glitters Who said anything about form over function?......... Søren
9. Not that we care, Poul......... (not!) Absolutely f...ing gorgeous! I prefer the PVM over OZ and Marchessini, which you obviously do too. Nice! Søren Check out the 20 spoke PVM wheels: Better than sex! (at least in my age... )
10. Yup, I'll join the band. We have a motorcycle expo in Copenhagen 18-20 Feb and I do hope that the MGS and the Griso are there. And don't worry, I'll bring my camera Søren

I like what I see It's great to see that Frankie adds that final touch, i.e. personal logos and so on. It's a tiny detail but yet so effective. Good job, Frankie! Søren
13. Just called FBF in PA and Staedtler was right: The x-over pipe is in back order. They thought though, that the Italian sister company may have one in stock so I should give Alex in Italy a call tomorrow. He should also be fluent in English so I'll have a go a demain By the way, how much do you think shipping and handling is from the US of A to dinky Denmark? ......drum rolls......A WHOPPING 300 US $.... Heck, a PC III is 329,- $ Jeeeeeesuz!
14. Thanks Jim, When you get your MGS 01 you wont need a Stucchi nor a Mistral.... Still keep my fingers crossed for you! Søren
15. Staedtler, Rachethack Thanks for your comments - highly appreciated I thought ordering a complete kit was the way to go, ´cos everything should be damn skippy. But a x-over in back order and no real timeframe for when the next batch will be ready things get a bit tricky. I assume patience is the key word? Rachethack's story of the poor fitting of the Stucchi is a bit scary - I just don't want to grind, file, bite, whatever in a brand new gadget. It's just against my nature to do so. If they can't produce a properly fitting x-over (which you, the customer pays dearly for) then screw it - it just ain't my ball game anymore. I think I'll aim for the total FBF solution and sit back and wait till they are ready. I'll even try to persuade them to have all the goods shipped from their Italian dealer, thus saving a dime or two on shipping and handling as well as overseas tax. I'm not really confident buying from the Italian dealer as their homepage is only in their native language and to be quite frank my Italian is a bit rusty, or better: non-excisting I'll give FBF a shout now and I'll get back to you later. Thanks again! Søren PS: Jason: Good comment ("Pepsi challenge" )
16. Speaking of the devil: Is there anybody out there who can tell the difference between Stucchi and Ferracci x-overs or is it just a matter of the eyes of the beholder? Pros and cons? I am about to purchase the FBF kit (cans, x-over, airfilter) + PC III with the relevant maps so please advice. Thanks in advance Søren
17. Speaking of radical pipes how about this one? Pics from firestartergarage.it ..and how about a radical bike? Søren
18. Great pipes! Looks absolutely awesome Check out the cuties from Italian Firestarter Garage: More info on Firestartergarage.it Ciao Søren

...and sorry for our bad Italian, Frankie Welcome onboard - and congrats to you for a fine looking bike! Ciao Søren
20. As an ex-bicycle racer I know exactly what Fernando is talking about. I used to cover at least 17.000 km/10.000 miles a year in my racing days, so my Wiener has been numb on several occassions. Actually one of my racing pals from back then tried the bra-looking seat but he only rode it a couple of times, 'cos everybody was giving him a lot of stick. I´ve tried all kinds of bicycle saddles - gel vs. leather, synthetic vs. ergonomic and what have you, but I ended up with a leather saddle from Italian manufactorer, Selle Italia (which means - yeah, I think you got it). When I changed bikes (I had 4 bikes - one alloy and one titatnium for racing, one MTB as well as one winterbike) I always used the same saddle. I still have it, actually, and it's at least 15-16 years old now. To cut a long story short I just wanted to state that we all have to adapt to our own physionomics/ergonomics. If the saddle works for Fernando then it's good. Furthermore I would like to echo that I also find it positive that Fernando shares his story with us all - who knows, it could be you or me that ends up in the same situation as Fernando, and you don't joke about prostate cancer! Enough said. Søren
21. I've also heard some horror stories about Wales´ finest, who don't seem to appreciate motorcycles. Other than that Wales seems to be one of the finest places to ride - smooth roads, great tarmac. The British Superbike magazine favour Wales and France when it comes to test rides. Søren
22. You're so right, Jim....... Have you ever heard a bloke say: "Do I like look fat in this Dainese suiit?"
23. Hi Tim, Thanks for the nice pics,. Thanks to you I just got myself a brand new (and free) wallpaper for my computer No sleet and snow in Denmark as we speak, but we just got through a couple of storms/hurricanes, which unfortunately craved 4 lives. Still waitng for the calender to say 01 March as that's the day when I can run my bike again. If you choose to run your bike between 01 December and 01 March here in Denmark you'll have to pay beaucoup $$$ for insurance. Søren
24. Hi Phil, I experienced the same as you albeit on my old CB 1100 Honda waaaay back in the 80'ies. We were travelling in the Pyrenees, so my story is equivalent to yours. I don't have an PC-III on my Scura but it's something I will purchase along with FBF cans, FBF x-over and FBF airfilter. Good luck with your update. Søren
