  1. Al, you won't regret installing the MPH Riser Kit, easy reach. I had to buy a stainless clutch hose for a Centauro which was a little longer than the one provided in the kit.
  2. Audiomick, that was a late run to the gas station for beer run. Mind you that any real selection is 45 minute ride from Tellico Plains. Since it was happy hour, I choose Corona as the most premium found in that Shell gas station “beer walk-in cooler”. I.E. selection was nada, zilch.
  3. Docc, like the valve covers that were resprayed on that bike. Maybe the stock silver was rattle can sprayed to “clean up the look of the bike”. Unfortunately it took some of the originality off the bike. I had leaned toward the same idea until learning the Rosso came in silver originally.
  4. It’s a Ventura, high quality L- bracket system. I have two sizes(they make many sizes) of bags to choose from, a 27L and the infamous steamer trunk expandable to 60L that I had at SSR 22”. I might as well wore the cone of shame until I it came in handy on a validating tech sessions beer run.
  5. Al, was it stock or add on?
  6. Also installed Joe Kenny head guards, they look good against the patina'd Rosso valve covers..
  7. Took the DB killers out of the Mivvs today, she is woke now , wow, I like the engine braking almost as much as acceleration. She ain't stock now..... Plus I have an oil cooler guard, in silver I've only owned this bike about a year & a half...
  8. I would probably have Jim Hamlin rebuild the front forks and replace the rear shock to set it up properly for two. I agree with PJPRP01 about installing a Corbin seat, possibly w heat. Other than that I found a low mileage 2V Norge, clean overall condition at a good price, need to make a deal first.
  9. Does a Norge make for good two up riding? Also is there enough rear seat leg room for a taller rider? Nicole/wife has 34 inseam, worried she would have enough room to foot pegs. Are there lowering rear foot peg kits?
  10. Just an update, we will have quite a few people stopping by or staying at the spring KSR. So far Bill, Kale, my father(78) and myself are in the cabin. We will try to accommodate almost anyone and will have a garage space for the "tech Sessions" and maybe a fire pit in the back yard. If everyone arrives I anticipate 15+ for the rides and kicking tires, as I have quite of few riding buddies(Triumph/Moto Guzzi V85's) that will be attending the Euro Rally in Burkesville and plan on dropping by Saturday to kick tires and tip Bourbon. John Barnes and company are going to be riding down to Barber Motorsports Park on Friday and plan on stopping by also. All joking aside, we probably won't be fishing at all, (sorry Bill ) but you could if you like. Most likely my dad will trailer down his V7 850 Special, I will make sure we bring extra coolers for ice, and maybe try to cook brats or something on the grill. If everyone arrives I anticipate 15+ for the rides and kicking tires, which according to Docc is a successful SpineRaid. If you haven't made final plans its not too late to call and make reservations in the lodge or sleep on the couch. https://parks.ky.gov/burkesville/parks/resort/dale-hollow-lake-state-resort-park
  11. All that said, he captures the noise of his bike winding out the gears better than almost all Youtubers. Audio Mick please show us you sound setup on your motorcycle?
  12. 🎙🔊✅
  13. V11 Sport is interviewing Docc?
  14. Al, call ☎️ Curtis @ Harpers, I bought new old stock cheap, would probably work for your application.
  15. Pressureangle- The Indian Thunder Stroke 116 is a 49-degree V-twin displacing 115 cubic inches (1890cc). The bore is 4.063 inches (103.2mm) and the stroke measures 4.449 inches (113mm). That means the Thunder Stroke 116 shares the same stroke as the 111, and the extra five cubic inches (79cc) of displacement comes from a bore increase from 3.976 inches (101mm). The cylinder head on the 116 is all-new. At 2900 rpm, the Thunder Stroke 116 hits its maximum of 126 ft/lbs of torque. That’s five ft/lbs more than the 111, and it comes 100 rpm sooner. The 116 uses air- and oil-cooling. Thunder Stroke 116 uses a 54mm throttle body. The compression ratio on the Indian Thunder Stroke 116 is 11:1, compared to 9.5: 1 on the 111.
  16. Docc, Nicole just agreed to ride down with me to the spine raid in Sept, the only catch is we will be two up on the Chieftain this year. Can't wait for all the garage session Non-Moto Guzzi pranks in the garage
  17. Docc, SSR Scotland Spine Raid 2024?
  18. This is definitely a bucket list trip for me, the video is narrated nicely, beautiful views of Scotland. There are more videos of this trip but I shared the first to get you started.....
  19. Audio Mick, don't forget to unlock the software. https://www.ktm.com/en-us/parts---wear/powerparts/products.powerpartscategory.html/software-enhancements-1001509769.c1/tech-pack-1002009522.prod?model=F9775V4
  20. Its all about riding Moto Guzzi's, typically WFO if your following Docc's lead. With all the makings for a good "idea", and a great weekend spent laughing in the garage "Tech Sessions". Its a no brainer
  21. Joe

    Rossa Corsa?

Al_ Can you post a pic of your bike for the "newbies" of the site?
  22. Docc, I still want & would buy a Sport Version Guzzi, not meant to be a knee dragger but maybe with the optional Ohlins semi-active suspension
  23. Its interesting how manufacturers are having to design Euro 5 compliant (large) catalytic converters into their designs. But I still like the Greenie design, the concept reminds me of my (late) 2020 Suzuki Katana naked bike. I've always talked to Kalev11 that if Moto Guzzi would ever offer a new V11 Sport, I would be happy to buy it. Also like it in black.
