Add AliExpress. I specifically searched Moto Guzzi V11 fork seals, and they had numerous vendors with complete sets of which to choose. I checked brake pad set, same. The crazy thing is so many global vendors are sourcing their stock from Ali anyway.

I guess I'll log what I get, then make another list for an other vendor. grrr.

I'm not certain when I ordered front brakes, it's both sides of the front. Not sure why anyone would order just one side though. The fork seals, it seems they have some pictured with one seal, and others with two. Again, why would anyone only do a single side. I clearly questioned if my parts were correct for my task, so maybe I'm just overthinking this, and they'll arrive correct.

Sheesh, MGC helped even less than I originally thought. I now have a feeling I have half a brake pad set, a single fork seal and a spring of no use! 20% restocking fee!!! It's only money

I've been so focused on my newly acquired V11, my V7 has been idle for a long time. Today, I woke it up, and rode 20 miles to work. WOW!!! I still love this bike so much. It is so zippy, and light weight compared to the V11. The wheel base and rake must be very different as the V7 turns so quick in comparison. I want the V11 for longer trips so the differences are just right for my needs. As for my V7, I'll never let this one go!

Thank you @docc. I don't plan to change the spring unless I must. It was my intention, after reading the forum to carry it as a spare. When making my order, I saw it was being advertised and added it as a precaution. As for Lucky Phil extender, that will be put on the bike fairly soon. I wanted to ride the bike as stock, to better notice before and after differences. On another note. I chose to order from MGC, my first time, as they had good prices and selection. I'm not sure how I never managed to order from them in the past for my V7. I reached out for ordering advice on fitment, but phone calls were not being accepted. In an email, there was some back and forth, ending in confusion, and additional cost on my part. Somehow, he managed to ship my order within an hour or so of placing it, before answering either my email or order notes asking for fitment confirmation. Now a day later, I'm still wondering if my order is correct. The front seal was wrong, and I'm still not sure if 1 or 2 kits is needed for front brakes and front seals. I have a feeling, there is more back and forth to come, following by additional USPS cost and his lame restocking fee. Even returning a car to the dealer doesn't cost a restocking fee. Disappointing service.

Sorry, not following.

I do not.

ordered… I already have those grips on my V11, never seen them before. The taper is surprisingly perfect! They feel and fit incredible, so much so, I searched the internet to buy a set for another bike, but failed finding them. Then making this order this morning, I browse MG Cycle and to my surprise, there they are!

I believe I successfully reseated/resealed my leaking fork seal. To refill, I opened the top cap, but could not syringe in the 400cc. Advice?

SUCCESS! I installed the AliExpress ordered injectors, the bike started right up! I don't understand why the OEMs bench tested correct, twice, but failed to even light the bike at all. With that said, and having to remove and replace the injectors far more than any bike should ever have, it now runs great. I put just over 10 miles on it, at speeds of 100 mph. I still need to address the right fork seal as it allowed the fluid to leak out while sitting with the previous owner. The brakes were surprisingly not great. I already flushed the brake fluid, so maybe after some heat cycles they will grip better. Expecting a bike with only 10k on the clock, to still have the OEM pads, maybe they need replaced not due to use, but rather age. I'll determine this soon, easily enough replaced if need be. Having finally went for a run, I'll now remove and replace the rear-end, gear-box and motor oils. Plus, I have yet to install the shift extender cam. Having ridden it only 10 miles, I can already see it needs it! Thank you all for your advice, truly appreciated.

I received the new injectors yesterday, my Saturday morning is now planned!

yes, and pressure tested, all is good.

yes

did that too, both are good. I swapped the relay too.

After two successful bench cleanings and test, the injectors have now stopped working. The bike starts and runs as long as I'm forcing fuel in to the cylinders, so I again removed the injectors and found them not working any longer. Maybe I burned them out while bench testing. I did take precautions to not activate them for more than a moment, but I guess I failed. So with this, I ordered two new ones from AliExpress. Although I'm mystified as to what happened, I am excited to receive the new ones with hopes of an install, a start-up, and a test ride! At the urging of my OEM parts only brother-in-law, I plan to have the original injectors refurbished and shelved, just in case.

Yes, this is in NorCal. I've been to this dealer while traveling this area for work. Nice shop, nice people. When traveling, I always search for moto shops to visit! I always need another sticker and t-shirt.

I have Wilburs on my 2010 V7, came with the bike. When I first got the bike, I set the sag and was amazed at how adjustable these shocks are, very sensitive. I've been happy with them. My forks have been rebuilt with Traxxion Dynamics, AK.

So I bought another bike today....

I've got 23k on my 2010 V7, fantastic bike! Congrats to your father! -
I wasn't interested in purchasing this, or even messing with anything in this area (maps, etc). I haven't got my dormant V11 running yet, so I have no idea if it needs attention in this area at all. I just came across this device, thought it looked suspicious, thus my question.
-
I actually used to live in NorCal, but it has been decades. I just wanted to visit any cool motorcycle spots while there, if possible.
-
I am traveling to NorCal three times over the next few weeks. Wedding in the Bay Area Dual Sport off-roading in Bishop Area Camping in Yosemite Any suggestion of "Moto Guzzi" stops? I'm sure I'll drop into Munroe Motors.

My 2010 V7 has a DynoJet PowerCommander, with GuzzitTech mapping. This one I fell upon this morning, with a dial, is what exactly? Same brand, but more traditional, no dial. https://www.ebay.com/itm/275220524163?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20220405142716%26meid%3D2b1f22fcd16249e591b79064642f691d%26pid%3D101506%26rk%3D10%26rkt%3D25%26sd%3D154753706283%26itm%3D275220524163%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2563228%26algv%3DSimplAMLv9PairwiseWebMskuAspectsV202110NoVariantSeedNoPLX&_trksid=p2563228.c101506.m1851&amdata=cksum%3A2752205241632b1f22fcd16249e591b79064642f691d|enc%3AAQAHAAABEAzdIKOcP6rVYsexH8mCu6bA2DY6ElM67JKComxjxAnyT9vOhsWu88eBePRdeUyezGJzQOV7Xuwj4hElfgg5l6s7hG9bYz6cLHpP53k62KpjDnVs%2FPrbshS4ufcNaTpFt7Un8JvqSdQrvqQ59qywbmxUDJDzN1Ty%2F%2BSs8QnbxSV2icp7RG6Fet56LOwSRafvrTDE8tUm%2FGHbenr4fB7w5QVIIxuJiiyXdWbmwJKDdd%2Fsgpm2tFfh5A1B4WGG4itFyR4vBy1NLq2K4ApUqtBH%2BgutZJw%2B0d3qS9KTFHYs%2Fjq1jx0O%2FCG0QghHa62fQk7IJvY6L1W9dyKtoque0EiFJ7RgRE3HtC%2FlOt0EePlBtrAS|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2563228&epid=23043789470

I expected it to at least start and run so my goal was to get it going before digging in too deep. I may have to do as you say though, just to be sure of its condition, "ran when parked". @scud lives very near, maybe he will swing by if he enjoys a bit of troubleshooting.
