Since it appears that only the RAM single plate replacement clutch assembly is available as the 5speed option, it appears we are down to two scenarios: Installing the RAM 5speed replacement on: 1) a V11 6speeder with single plate clutch/ aluminum (crack prone) flywheel [Scura, Tenni, and Rosso Mandello] 2) a V11 6speeder with twin plate clutch/ steel flywheel

Kiwi_Roy drew one up. Find it in @Weegie's dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/no8adkie1sl6frnc2qmm8/ALzrUXsngCqMRtfMR1cXedE?rlkey=8x5byzd4ux3107610i22ig5v6&e=1&st=3xbx7rbu&dl=0

This could be our forum's unofficial mantra . . .

"If you can carry it out by yourself, it's yours." > Dude with trucks seeking odd bench-cabinetry to carry across borders. <

"Hammering (things)?" But, of course!

Recent shop work is always an issue. A "satisfactory state of affairs" might have been disturbed (Waddington Effect). The "something unrelated" may have disturbed "something unrelated." What was the work done by the shop? What with the vacuum taps accepting "rubber" ( I use silicone) caps, I am interested in the "ball bearing" method . . .

My thinking would be, 1) there is a lot (a lot) less to disconnect from the gearbox, 2) the gearbox weighs vastly less than the motor, 3) with the gearbox out of the way, the clutch is accessible and easily disassembled as the motor acts as a sort of support jig (especially for reassembly). But I have been wrong before . . .
-
Your plan is to remove the gearbox? In this state, the gearox would just come off without any worries about the pushrod. The actual clutch assembly remains inside the flywheel "basket" attached to the back of the motor (crankshaft). It will likely help to loosen the front subframe bolts to the motor and lift the rear of the frame a bit ("crabbing the spineframe") . . .

Ah, okay, I reckon this is it. I can see that if it is seized in its bore, then "no clutch" action. Perhaps you could give it a "rap" to free it up? Unless that just drives it deeper into the bore . . .

I am not sure what you mean by "clutch piston" . . .

Yeah . . . my, my . . .

What's your junk?

Makes buying a local V11 Sport with no gearbox seem like a cakewalk! -
Your clutch parts look quite good from the images. While you're in that space, good to take care of the seven (or are there eight?) potential leak points . . .

Factory equipped Nero (and Rosso) Corsa = common twin plate clutch/ steel flywheel, yes? Aluminum flywheels (with single plate clutch) = 2001 Rosso Corsa, 2002 Scura and Tenni, IIRC . . .

It seems the metal parts of the drive were improperly heat treated along with the "sliding dogs." Not sure how to know if the parts have been replaced. Yet, Dave Blue said this one had been done? Let me scare up a copy of the recall and (maybe) a link to the parts kit . . .

That is badass!

Calling @andy york . . . .

If I am not mistaken, this looks to be the "flexible hose" /gearbox cushdrive That would have been addressed along with the "sliding dogs" of the gearbox recall. Seems no reason to disassemble this (?)

edit: frankly, your input hub doesn't look that bad to me. Mine is pretty knackered and lends itself to quite a racket . . . (oi - be certain that "safety washer" locks up tight.)
-
You are certain it is not the bleeder weeping? I had to add a couple wraps of TeflonĀ® tape to mine for that.

Three months (thirteen weeks) out, and Ken (the innkeeper) tells me there are four rooms (of 16) left at The Lodge at Tellico. Of the twenty-one years of this "South'n SpineRaid ", this is our sixteenth at this location. There are "reasons" we keep going back . . . Y'all come, now! Ya hear?
