Perhaps the inner bearing, #12, is the matter?

Eight weeks from now, we'll be making our way home from the Fart-eenthSSR . . . Just a reminder to be looking at the roads, routes, and attractions of the area as there really is no full-size/everyone-at-once/organized ride with a preset route. It would be great for some route and ride ideas to post here, and consider forming some fine allegiances and riding Saturday in groups up to five or six. I like trying to form a diversified group: A navigator , a guy good with tools , someone with great sounding Mistral , a pannier-meeneeac to carry the beer at the end of the day , and some wirenut with extra relays . . .

I saw some little "restorers prybars" with the backside faced for striking (smoting?), and faced my set of Lady's Feet. The largest (16") came out with a nice cross-peen weighing in at 494g, seen here with my vintage Gedore 500g machinist's Hammer . . .

This time the PC545 testbed took 5 days to fall below 12.65v (last time 2 days). Discharge/ charge/ monitor/ repeat. These are amazing batteries with the right attention. [edit/ 08 August 2018: last discharge to 12.64 took eleven days. Really amazing that a completely dead battery (just over 7 volts) has been recovered using these established methods. Don't throw away an Odyssey PC545 without trying attempting the recovery/conditioning.]

My throttle bodies dripped here from new. The dealer told me about not just turning it on and off or running it briefly. *(I was strating it up all the time just to listen to the beautiful sounds ! ! ) Moto Guzzi paid to replace the entire throttle body/ injection rail under warranty, but the dealer was right about the brief starts making that drip.

Right, Nero Corsa were all fully faired. And Öhlins. And 2003-4 (none in 2002). That looks to be a Franken-bike.

BJ, I was thinking that a Decent Tune-up might be beneficial if the bike is running rich or the CO Fuel Trim is not correct. Worth doing: Decent Tune-up (Look for this thread to move to "Technical Topics", the preferred sub-forum for questions and discussion.)

Assuming we're talking about the deep inside bearing that cover the small right side seal, the heat method works well, just much higher temperature than I would have thought. Hi, Blazej! Many of these V11 will do that if the ignition is switched on and off without starting, or starting only briefly (pressurizing the fuel system). There are those who have changed the O-rings on the shafts. Spray cleaning the spring and bottom area under the throttle body ( with throttle body cleaner) may be worth trying! You can get an idea by checking the depth inside the lock nuts to the swingarm pivots for symmetry. Also, if the steering damper is cranked up, it could affect this? I have mine set to minimum.

Today, I found the Sport just decelerates in a straight line releasing the throttle at 40-45 (even 60) and taking hands off the bars. Perhaps V11 drifting right might benefit from checking swingarm alignment?

Seems like the Koehler in the CubCadet is close to 750cc. It just sits so, so much (thank goodness!)

After connecting the 2010-88 to the Deka for a couple hours, then several discharge/ charge cycles (using 10 amps up to several hours), the 8-year old PC545 held to 12.65v over two and half days. I'll keep repeating the discharge/ charge cycles with the 6a Optimizer every time it statically discharges to 80% and see if she'll hold longer and longer . . . At this point, it seems the deep discharge recovery worked on a battery that was little over 7 volts! Dat's ded, mon!
