Last year at this same time I bought my 2004 V11 Sport new out of the box. This year I needed a new car so I kinda went the Italian route. I bought an 08 Suzuki SX4 Hatchback. It's also known as a Fiat Sedici. I bought it in a snowstorm that dumped 12" in Kansas in 8 hours... What may not seem like much, but in Kansas it's a problem.... LOL I love the AWD and the price. Less than $15,000US out the door. I don't have any pics of the actual car, but here are some pics of Suzuki's Website. I bought a Black car with Black interior. Richard Z.

I'd love to Cafe the GT750 I have but it's too complete to molest it. I love the looks of the bike in your avatar. Makes me want to find an older guzzi to do the same... That bike is cool. Richard Z.

I hope he like's it as much as I do. It's complete and ran last year with a good title. It's unmolested and should be a great project. I really wanted it for myself, but the boy has been bugging me about doing another project bike. I still have my 1972 GT750J Lemans aka waterbuffalo, kettle etc. I've owned it 18 years and this little bike will go nicely with it. However, the 250 will get finished way before my 750. I don't haveas much enthusiasm as the boy. Richard Z.

Many of you remember the 1972 Suzuki TS185 that my 9 year old son restored last summer. Well, I just bought him another project. He will get it for Christmas. I found it on a regional auction site and thought there was no way my $375.00 bid would get it.. I was wrong.. 1973 Suzuki GT250K I almost can't wait to give it to him. Richard Z.

I agree... Where do I send the money... That is very nice.... I like the white... Now if it actually looks like that, when and if it's released... Richard Z.

I don't have any answers... I got them yesterday and put them on in the driveway tonight. I just got back from putting about 8 mileson it... First thing I noticed. Idles so much faster now. Great low end grunt a noticeable difference. At least by the seat of my pants. PC is next. Wanted to get all the hardware installed before I get to the software.... Richard Z.

Hope this helps anyone thinking of purchasing them. I bought the M4's from MPH Cycle's... Super fast delivery and an awsome product... Thanks, Todd Richard Z.

Since purchasing the Sport a year ago December, I've been plagued witht the crossover pipe leak.. I tried several self attempts to make it better.... Non worked. So I ordered the shims from Todd at MPH.. Wow what a difference that made. Now that I'm satisfied with the permanent repair I have been shopping Exhaust systems... After having a perfect experience with MPH and the shims, I ordered a set of M4's from Todd yesterday.... I can't wait to get them... I will be selling my stock mufflers after they arrive, if I like the sound of the M4's. Thanks, Todd and MPH for your knowledge and professionalism. Richard W. Zimmerman

An 80-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up. The doctor asked him how he was feeling and the 80-year-old said "Things are great and I've never felt better. I now have a 20 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. So what do you think about that?" The doctor considered his question for a minute and then began. "I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day when he was setting off hunting, he was in a bit of a hurry and accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun. "As he neared a lake he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge. He realized he'd left his gun at home and so couldn't shoot the magnificent creature but out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it were his favorite hunting rifle and went 'bang, bang'. "Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead. Now, what do you think of that?" asked the doctor. The 80-year-old said, "If you ask me, I'd say somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver." The doctor replied, "My point exactly". Richard Z.

One day in the future, Jesse Jackson has a heart-attack and dies. He immediately goes to hell, where the devil is waiting for him. "I don't know what to do here," says the devil. "You are on my list, but I have no room for you. You definitely have to stay here, so I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I've got a couple of folks here who weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one of them go, but you have to take their place. I'll even let YOU decide who leaves." Jesse thought that sounded pretty good, so the devil opened the door to the first room. In it was Ted Kennedy and a large pool of water. Ted kept diving in, and surfacing, empty handed. Over, and over, and over he dove in and surfaced with nothing.. Such was his fate in hell. "No," Jesse said. "I don't think so. I'm not a good swimmer, and I don't think I could do that all day long." The devil led him to the door of the next room. In it was Al Gore with a sledgehammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing that hammer, time after time after time.. "No, this is no good, I've got this problem with my shoulder. I would be in constant agony if all I could do was break rocks all day," commented Jesse. The devil opened a third door. Through it, Jesse saw Bill Clinton, lying on the bed, his arms tied over his head, and his legs restrained in a spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky, doing what she does best. Jesse looked at this in shocked disbelief, and finally said, "Yeah man, I can handle this." The devil smiled and said . . . . . . . . "OK, Monica, you're free to go." Richard Z.

Words won't describe how I feel for you.. Been there done that. Thank goodness for Riding gear technology.. Glad it did its job. As long as you keep your wits about you and want to ride then you will. I don't know if you have another bike Guzzi or not. Just get back to riding as soon as possible. That is the best medicine. I was in the Hospital for 47 day after my last accident and was riding afterthe 3rd month. That's when I bought my first Guzzi. The bike looks bad, but you are among friends and brothers. If you need something and I have it. It's yours. I ride with my gear all the time. I was wearing it during my last accident. It's not perfect. There are things fabric and leather wont stop. Barbwire for one. But look at the what could have happened if you weren't. Flesh isn't that resiliant. As mentioned earlier about the Target Fixation. I wasn't there, but the way you described it, sure sounded familiar. Everytime I meet a car in a curve, I see the car that caused my accident. Once your eyes focus on an obstacle, its hard to not fixate on it. I've been working on fixing my problem and only more seat time has helped. Get back to riding ASAP and ATGATT... I ordered a set of Norge pegs for my Sport. I've been wanting to do the Buell peg swap, but after seeing the Norge pegs I went that route. Just couldn't put HD/Buell pegs on the MG. Now for the 2 month wait to get them.... I rode to the MO-KAN Rally and back in 25 hours. Did 700+ miles in that time and was a bit sore in the upper shoulders. The legs seemed to be fine. Damn, I like my sport. 310 miles in 3 hours and 20 minutes. You can do the math..... Richard Z.

My son trent has been working his butt of trying to finish his bike for a show tomorrow. with school and soccer etc. time has passed too quickly. He started this about a month ago. he bought the bike running with a good title for $50 and has used his savings to keep the project going. He has learned the use of many pieces of shop equipment and hand tools. With the exception of the paint He has done about 90% of the rest of the work. He has been sandblasting and powdercoating, polishing and degreasing everything. I have helped with the reassembly to help him meet his goal. This gets me wanting to tear apart the 72 WaterBuffalo. Here is the pic of the bike as he picked it up and a few shots of where he is at now. Richard Z.

I've suspected for some time now that my wife is cheating. The usual signs... Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she says, "Just some friends from work. You don't know them." I always stay awake to look for who is bringing her home, but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car driving off as if she got out around the corner. Why? Maybe she doesn't want me to see who is dropping her off. I once picked up her cell phone to see what time it was and she went crazy and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and asked why I was checking up on her. Anyway, I have never brought up the subject with her. I think deep down I didn't want to know the truth but last night again she went out and I decided to really check in on her. I decided that I was going to park the V11 Sport next to the garage and hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she comes home. It was at that moment crouching near the headlight of my v11 Sport, that I noticed a slow drip of oil coming out of the bottom of the oil pan. Is this something that I can fix myself or should I take it to the dealer? HAHA.. Richard Z.

Yes, its a High temp coating from Eastwood. I used a conventional oven and a Craftsman powder coater. The first coating started to burn thru after a bit of riding. probably in my prep. So I sandblasted them again and roughed up the surface a bit with 3" medium grit scotch brite pad on a small dotco grinder. that give the powder something to bite into. Been about 1500 miles without any discoloration or peeling. Richard Z.
