  1. 2,5 months without a V11 is hell...
  2. HI, I am looking for a Rossopuro cateye taillight. Since Rossopuro is out of stock, do you know any shop that sells Rossopuro parts and might have this part on stock? Thank you! P.S: My damaged V11 Le Mans is trying to...recover....slowly...but with confidence!

    Jet Helmet

I looking for a classic, retro Jet Helmet. I want to wear it with glasses (I have a Nannini pair). The Davida helmets are really nice, but a bit expensive. Is there any other marque with the same classic design, but cheaper? Thank you in advance, Dimitris
  4. Interested in buying a V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa. Preferably from Italy or Germany, since I am in Greece. Ciao!
  5. This is an exact example of target fixation. One of the most difficult things is to go against our reflexives. But since we manage to "beat" them and act "freely", we have the key for better, safer and more enjoyable ride.
  6. Fine pics! Thank you! I will surely follow the method, when I have the bike back..
  7. Very useful! Thanks. I will surely need it to fix my right side Mistral muffler.
  8. yeap! like saying "he did a great job".
  9. Thank you all for your comments guys! Today I will go to my mechanic, to where the bike is left and see about the damages. I really can't think of the cause of falling. The tyres were new. I had done about 280 km with those tyres. Half of them on track. I dont remember being cornering on the limit...Nor I think that I twisted the throttle in the heart of the corner. Was it little stones? mud? humidity? all this combination? I don't know... To tell the truth I won't be satisfied until I ride again a V11 LeMans....I don't know if it will be the damaged one, if something else... The following days I will be able to know the damage extension. I will also be seeking for your opinions and thoughts. I thank you all. Dimitris
  10. Went on Sunday morning for a ride with some other friends. During a right corner, in the heart of it, the bike just "slipped" beneath my feet...I believe I experienced a low-siding. I don't know why yet and maybe never I will. The important thing is that I am OK. Not even a scratch. The bike is in awful condition. I am so sad. The picture of seeing your bike in such a mess...is so..bad..! All the front fairing, the headlamp, the right clip on, the front brake lever, the rear brake lever, the turn indicators, the instrument panel, the right muffler, all are destroyed. The tank has only some paint damage. All these damages are expensive, I know this, but the more serious thing is a small crack on the left side, at the spot where the left "up-side-down-V" frame is mounted with a screw on the engine. The crack is not on the frame but on the engine, just close to where the screw is.... Maybe this could be fixed...but how am I trust her again, knowing that the base of where the frame is mounted is "fixed"?.... Just 10 days ago I tried the Bridgestone BT016. Ah!
  11. I totally agree. Unfortunately we can't have all! Sticky tyres wear quicker, longer wearing tyres last much more, but they don't give you the same felling in grip. In conclusion, I believe that if the public roads are good, and not glassy, longer wearing tyres are a very good option.
  12. what is the link for this LSL kit? (webshop? internet page)
  13. Yes, a real sport tyre (race-road tyres) obviously can give you more. More grip, probably more bent angle, better time..on track. I am just searching for a pair of tyres that could give me good results both on track and on public roads. Real race-road tyres (Metzeler Racetec, Pirelli dragon supercorsa, Bridgestone BT002) have many drawbacks on public roads (wet, longevity). I believe that Bridgstone BT016 belongs to the same category as the Metz M3 (sport tyres). Which means, good grip, longer life (in comparison to race-road tyres) and good grip on the wet (journeys..). Sport touring tyres (like Metzeler Roadtec Z6, Diablo Stradas etc) are really excellent tyres! Good grip, LONGEVITY and good performance on the wet, but not so good feeling and grip as the sport tyres (the price is the longevity, you can't have all). If I used the V11 only on public roads I would definetely prefer tyres such as Diablo stradas or Roadtec Z6s. Since I use the bike both on and out of track, sporty tyres like the ones I mentioned above are a very good solution!! Metzeler M3 lasted for 6.500 km (including 6 track days). That's a good number!! Now I will have to find out what the Bridgestones will give me...time will show..
  14. So, noone has any idea of what sort of oil pan could I mount to the V11 (with the above specifications..)??
  15. Motomecca replied. Unfrtunately their oil pan covers the half of the sump....
  16. Good news that Pirellis Diablo Strada's are OK with the bike! Last week I had a set of the new Bridgestone BT016. In comparison to the Metzeler M3s the Bridgestone give me a lighter feeling. The front end became "lighter". Less effort is required to bent on curves. The grip is in high level. I tested them on track, dry and wet. No problem on wet. I could rely on. I need more testing in public roads (the greek public roads are glassy...).
  17. I e-mailed Motomecca, asking them if the belly pan, they make for the V11, is covering the whole inferior surface of the crankase. I hope I won't have to fit a universal one....
  18. Dainese Zentex. Good protection and allows air to pass through! In the morning maybe you feel cold...
  19. Bike is running fine! through the VDST I saw the followings: TPS (engine not running) 2.8 degrees TPS (engine running) 3.0 degrees Trim -92
  20. Hi!! I want an oil belly pan for my V11. The reason is that I do track days and maybe I will take part in some races in the future. The belly pan should cover the whole engine of the inferior surface, so as to be suitable for racing use (in case some oil drops out...it should prevent it from dripping to the track-road). So what are the options I have? I know that Stucchi and Motomecca are doing some belly pans for the V11s. From pictures I can see that the Stucchi is not suitable for racing, cause it does not cover the whole inferior surface. I don't know if the Motomecca is OK. Some other brands maybe?? Thank you!
  21. 5 years also with the same battery, the factory one. Till now no problems at all.
