I'd be a lot wealthier, Al.. but I can count on one hand the beers I didn't like. -
Grandmother said it would make you go blind..

Al and Dave, yours went out USPS this afternoon. Total is still $53.50 including shipping and fondling. Paypal to 59 dot Chuck at gmail dot com would be fine, or I'll send you my mailing address for a check if that is what you would rather do. Martin.. pinging Martin.. I still don't have your shipping address..

After much tinkering (Yee Haw) in the SoCal canyons this is the recipe that works for me and my dainty 190 lbs. First, the Scura was undersprung from the factory. That needs to be addressed to get the "sag" right. That is number 1. Then.. from maintenance records: set front shock compression +3 from full soft, rebound+6 from full soft. Rear suspension Rebound 24 clicks from full soft, compression 12 clicks from full soft. On smooth roads, totally back off the steering damper.

Did you make the adapters? Nice work..

Who says you can't teach an old dawg new tricks? Part drawn in 3D with new software, sent to the updated cnc mill with a new operating system. Bluetooth handheld gizmo (technical term) that you can walk around with and move any axis as little as .0001". Pretty kool, but a big hill to climb for this old dog.. it's a pleasure to run, though. Got em ran, at any rate. 2018-11-01_10-47-58 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr

Martin, I still don't have your mailing address. Either PM it to me or send it to the above gmail address. I'll be shipping these last three Monday.

Al, Martin, Dave.. I have recently upgraded the cnc and computer, and will use up my available blanks to make some for you. Send your mailing address to: 59dot Chuck at gmail dot com.

Dunno. Don't se any part numbers on your drawing.. 21 is 01161331 24 is 01154631
-
My parts drawing sez 26 O ring GU 90706010 it goes over the male end of # 21under the nut on 24. It's for an 03, though..
-
Well, duh.. I finally got an look at the parts manual, and you're in luck. It'll just be that O ring. Probably. At any rate, I'd run it until the next oil change, then take it apart and have a look. It *could* be that gasket..but from your picture, I think it's the o ring. Cheap. Shoulda used AN..
-
Ok, *if* it is an AN type fitting, the male part coming out of the sump will look like the piece on the left. You can see the flare on the tubing inside the nut. Normally, a failure is a crack in that formed flair. The good thing is.. it's not suddenly going to fail and dump all your oil on the rear tire. The bad thing is you have to take the fitting apart to inspect it, thereby losing all your oil.. 2018-10-30_03-33-13 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr

Nope, the flare is formed to fit the male fitting Swooshdave posted. The nut holds the flare against the fitting. The crack will be on the flare.. All this is *assuming* it's an AN fitting, which it appears to be. I'll post up a picture if it will clarify how it goes together..
-
*assuming* they are AN fittings.. there is probably a crack in the flare. That is the common failure.

That's pretty much it. more than likely a crack.
-
We are dealing with my crotchety memory here, but it "seems" like it was an AN fitting when I had the pan off last. If so, "She's dead, Jim.."
-
Probably a warranty issue..

Thanks for the pix..
