  1. Since you are in Texas, make sure the jacket you get has zip-able front and back vents, as well as vented pit zips. Mine also has 3M piping front and back for nighttime reflectivity. I don't see my style shown but is similar to https://www.foxcreekleather.com/mens-grayson-motorcycle-jacket/.
  2. Do realize that a Fox Creek jackets is not your department store thickness leather, "soft and feely". It is real, hand graded thick leather. Like race leathers thickness/quality. Their jackets are heavy and wear very well. My jacket is probably 15 years old and would pass as almost new, despite 10 years of hard use. I'd call them and get someone on the phone who can talk "tailoring" you a new custom fitted jacket. The down stairs is usually just a store clerk. Tell them you want to speak to someone from "upstairs" who is actually involved in the fitting/cutting/sewing process.
  3. https://www.foxcreekleather.com/fcl-cafe-racer/ These guys make some of the best. I have one similar. They take your measurements and tailor make in upstairs of their shop in Independence, VA. American made leather, lifetime guarantee. A bit pricy but I found worth every penny. Not sure about armor, I don't have in mine. Generally I opt for my Dainese Air Frame textile jacket with either the D-Air bag vest or a track vest underneath instead of the leather. I'm too old to be sportin' leather for chicks!
  4. Sent message to Bob Marsh, no reply. Always wonder about folks that post stuff of the like and "have no idea on value". Hmmm....
  5. Bill, reacting to your post put me right there along with you. Cell mates!
  6. Engineering art at its finest!
  7. My kinda woman, esp. if she pillions too. I am a lone wolf on all rides, wife gave me up on riding years ago now. You are doing something right KINDOY2 for sure!!
  8. Don't have a MotoGP pass for watching this year, so did Marquez earn a track limits warning for the last left hand turn at 2:47? Looks like Pecco was dominating in smoothness and drive. Thanks for sharing!
  9. WTB red/black ThrottleMeister Bar Ends. Lost throttle side bar end off one V11 LeMans and would like to replace with same. Let me know what you might be willing to part with. Thanks. Tom in Virginia
  10. Just listed on FB "Moto Guzzi's For Sale" page: 7700 miles, $7000 2002 V11 Lemans Tenni. Pretty sweet ride and it gets alot of looks It was upgraded to titanium mufflers at original purchase. Has a few other extras, but it comes already upgraded from the factory. It is number 130 of 170 made world wide. 30 sold in the usa. It gets looks wherever I ride. Runs and drives great! Would trade for the right Stelvio. I gave Twin AH a heads up, think he had been looking for a pristine Tenni.

looks like you might have had "grabby clutch" syndrome here (or it wouldn't disengage). Been there myself on my '73 Eldo.
  15. What fork tubes are in use here?
  16. OK, for the really important EICMA stuff ... https://www.gpone.com/en/2021/11/24/moto-gallery/all-but-really-all-the-girls-of-eicma-2021.html?refresh_ce
  17. Have never gotten any good service from Harpers, on 3 occasions requested parts for 3 different items, Curtis said he had or would send upon receipt. never rec'd any further response. I use MG cycle as a primary source, then go to Stein Denise. You could also try Jim Hamlin Cycles in CN.
  18. Love mine, not a motorbike, but have ridden off road thru out Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, as well as Georgia, SC, Florida and Virginia. Have right at 2000 miles on it in 5 years of ownership. 3rd set of tires. capable, 20-40 mile range, hopped it up so it max's out at 27mph. One crash, in my driveway, lol. https://photos.app.goo.gl/bqrnMBM6XJr49PmCA https://photos.app.goo.gl/hftihtdRZKdy5BbB6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/9PDscktGEJGEdxEi6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/HkCddtPvDcbkhX4J6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/ottfXH2UZ9X2189h8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/LgjHd3atobJ4qSDK8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/sJxzqo1ZzhbzquMv5 https://photos.app.goo.gl/cBxvaNoiq6PwdZPk6
  19. Here's a link to my photos. Rode by myself, ate by myself, so not many of the fella's rides but a few of the Tech Session discussions. https://photos.app.goo.gl/GANxnBUhZKdSAd4C9
  20. I left early this am, didn't get a chance to say goodbye to all you fellas. Sorry about that, I didn't want to interrupt the Sat nite Tech session last night and it was too early this am (0630 hrs) to knock on everyone's door. Had a great time, did some really fun, fast riding and will be one of my special memories when I'm too old to ride. Also learned a lot from all. Good times, already looking forward to a go next year. Everyone travel safe!
  21. So what's was Doc Martin's prognosis? (May be applicable to my '16 Norge as well, always worth a look ). Looking forward to meeting you Bill, as I still haven't decoded your VA proximity. Sounds like you have all the ingredients covered for a great weekend. Wish my wife still rode with me!

  24. Proud to have won "Best in Show" at 2021 National MG Rally held in Swanzey, NH with my 1973 MG 850 Eldorado. This was my first street motorbike, bought it in July 1978, restored in 2020. Thus began my love of all things Moto Guzzi.
