  1. Indeed. Many’s the time i’ve clicked thru to their website only to shuffle away again...
  2. Sure thing Chuck, i’ll dig them out and email you some snaps if you like.
  3. I replaced the crappy clocks a while back, still have the old ones, you’re welcome to the stem off it if any good for you?
  4. Ah! Thanks Chuck! I’ve been experiencing this recently- slight delay when pressing the starter button, and occasionally blowing the fuse. It was worse when the bike had been sitting for a few weeks without use, but if I ride her more often the problem seems to diminish.
  5. That’s interesting. Would that be why, if the bike doesn’t fire up properly and stalls once or twice, that when it does so it’s really lumpy for a minute or so?
  6. Oo yummy. They’re getting on a bit now but there’s a variety of options out there
  7. Is this the long horse-shoe bit of fairing or the whole thing? This is a difference between models I wasn’t aware of
  8. Some lovely bits on her and a deafeningly lovely sound- who wants a v50! Harr!
  9. Ta ducks, i’ll have a squid at it tomo
  10. Docc, where’s the ‘distributor blanking plate’?
  11. My friend’s v7 has a dreadful heavy clutch. I don’t know how she manages- I’m a plasterer and my grip is akin to he-man’s big brother’s, but I was irritated by it. The v11’s clutch is an absolute beaut, I have no complaints there!
  12. Incidentally, leak #17 on my v11 is just around that lower edge on a valve cover. Good to know it’s an easy fix with a decent gasket.
  13. Hey Chuck, probably a bit of an obvious question but how does the old sport compare to riding a v11? Too similar to warrant having both in the garage?
  14. Got to admire you rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in there. The sleeve on my mistral is proper knackered though- badly torn. The metal is so thin too, it’d take a tig-wielding Gandalf to fix that. Plus the finish on them is a dull matt, so I’d think tricky to blend a repair. I’ve got the carbon ones on now anyways. It can be a right bummer if, like me, you fall off occasionally! ‘Oh arse, there goes £650 again”
  15. But seriously, where the hell is it coming from... I was looking today and it seems to be coming from higher up, I changed the top hose...
  16. Duuude you broke your v11 oil-cherry! mine’s misting a wee bit all over the place apparently- rust be gone! Haha
  17. So a mistral titty silencer would be one long nice titanium weld and a re-build...? Even so, doesn’t sound very diy footgoose? Or I am soooo behind in the guzziworld!
  18. It’d actually be quite interesting to know the cost of repairing damaged silencers. I had assumed it wouldn’t be worth it.
  19. I got my blablibio for 3,250 good English pounds a few years back. Bargain.
  20. Well for comparison there’s a low mileage tenni going for £6000...
  21. What about bonding a fresh piece of plastic over the whole front box area? Then you could cut new holes anywhere you like..?
  22. Well I know next to nowt about this sort of thing but I did raise a brow when ol’ lumpy came out! It’ll be a Guzzi thing I thought! Hammers n such...
  23. “Pushes in a crazy way from 5500...” Yeah baby! Like my v11 haha! 6k on the v11 is happy times man!
  24. Hey up! Some may well be familiar with this youchoob channel, but anyway- I found it a fine way to spend a few minutes.
