  1. Holy tits that’s a schmokin hot wee video there brother! ... ... ... (buells r still shite though haha!) before i bought my lovely v11 i lusted after a firebolt. Sooooo glad i got my v11- at 5k revs the guzz is tight, eager and fierce! The Byonk is all done and crappy.
  2. My pal had a ulyssesses... it was hideous... can’t recommend them. Weirdly top-heavy, felt like revs maxed out at around 4k, finish was appalling (loom running over sharp edges) , ‘design features’ like the pekky frame and oily swingarm seemed unnecessary. Edit: lets not forget the shitty belt drive...
  3. Indeed. Certainly trumps my ‘glue six magnets to the brake disc bolts’ approach!
  4. Ace pertaters. I reckon a monza’d be just the ticket for tooting about through yorkshire and derbyshire. edit: i luurve the light blue paint-scheme
  5. You chaps dream big! I’m feeling the need to put restrictions on monetary values here... We already have a thread about ‘dweam bikes wot i’d wuv to have pwease!’ (GIVE ME A MGS01 LORD) I’m talking about relatively cheap bikes guys. Bikes that there’s no reason not to have (bar the space). Praps under the five thousand mark..?
  6. Ducati? hmmm... just fill the thing with expanding foam... be reet.
  7. What bike would you like to own but for some godfersaken reason you aint bought yet? I’m talking about bikes that aren’t exclusive (yet), aren’t expensive (yet) and aren’t too weird but you’d love to womble into the garage and see it sitting there! Personally i can’t get away from twins, so a Ducati 750ss (early nineties bodywork) and a Yam 850 trx make part of my list. Enough ipa+ebay+gay abandon= poss purchase!
  8. I’ve recently fitted Woodcraft clips with the 3” rise. Installed them below the top yolk and due to the clamps being two-piece you can fit/fiddle/remove without disassembling the front end. Which is ace. For me they feel spot on and, due to the rise, there’s the option of raising them if required.
  9. Dallas to Portland! Sounds like happy trundling a-gogo!
  10. Looking nice + dark.... apart from those dreadfully garish fork tubes of course. I suggest you break out the teeny tin of Humbrol (tm) gloss black and set to!
  11. Hey did we get anywhere with the andreani kit? Anyone using them yet?
  12. If the exhaust can takes a whang, it could possibly crack the crossover- maybe not from one drop ... but worth 3 minutes to check anyway. Cracks there make tuning Not Fun.
  13. Isn’t there a groove there that means there’ll always be a bit of fore-aft wiggle?
  14. It’s done for aesthetics. Makes a counterpoint to all the machined metal and stuff.
  15. I’m about 10 miles away from her 40,000th mile burpday. Just ordered some woodcraft clips to celebrate 🙂
  16. Well they’re gettin along some in age now, but (due to this website!) maybe there’s more otr than some equivalent years/manufacturers/models of motorised by-cycle?
  17. There was a young fellow in sheffield a few years back who rode about on one of those big, long, lazy kwaka drifters with the funky valanced mudguards- his grin couldn’t have been any wider!
  18. I keep looking at Yamaha Trx850’s... Thin, light, powerful enough, cool 90’s design. And a twin too 🙂. Low mileage good ones are slightly on the expensive side in the uk, considering the age, but negotiation could come into play perchance.
