skibum69 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Can someone take a photo and show me where the regulator/rectifier and alternator are on the V11 Sport Naked? Thanks
docc Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Alternator is under the round cover on the front of the motor. (Yours is likely silver and not so beat up as mine looks . . . ): Looks like this under the cover (potential wire attachment failure circled): Regulator is the finned, rectangular silver box "usually" mounted below the oil cooler between the horns: 1
Pressureangle Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Happens mine is on the bench waiting for new regulator to come. First is assembly, bracket horns regulator Second is bracket placement on frame. Hard to see behind mounted oil cooler. 2

skibum69 Posted Saturday at 12:35 PM Author Posted Saturday at 12:35 PM (edited) I think I have a rectifier problem as it didn't seem t be charging last ride. I was just going to do a check in it according to the manual. If that's what it looks like it might be under the seat. Edited Saturday at 12:36 PM by skibum69 1

skibum69 Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago So according to docc it's not this one? This looks like a row of relays etc. 1
Tomchri Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago It is. Hard to see what they are. 5-6 new ones probably a good idea. Clean everything, and make sure the relays sit tight. Some Caig Deoxit in there to. Think I woud relocate seat release wire to. Cheers Tom. 2

YES! @skibum69, groom that seat release cable back behind the relays and secure it with zip-tie! That is a TERRIBLE location for the cable wedged between the ECU relay and the Fuel/Ignition relay! 1 1
