Leo Vince is mainstream in Europe. They are reliable even if less known than Akrapovič. Akrapovič being one of the main provider of the MotoGP, they are generally more expensive. 3,500 USD is like a gift.3 points

If it doesn't have hidden corrosion issues, & the digital dash functions well,I think that's a bargain. Nice lowering pegs,CARC & front guards, obviously the owner took care to try to protect it. Not familiar with that Leo Vince exhaust system, but it looks well made. Almost a twin for my Griso, but mine has 5 times the mileage.3 points

The "Motards en Colère" who are fighting the "chain" pushing to have State Inspection implemented, have demonstrated using government provided statistics, that motorcyclists are almost never implicated in accidents where the root cause is lack of maintenance. It does not take a genius to understand that. Operating a motorcycle without any brakes can result in the operator' serious injury. The Inspection for motorcycle is only a "money grab". Unfortunately, those companies pushing for the inspection have found a new argument, in that a lot of motorcyclists modify their exhaust systems, sometimes making their bike non compliant with the Emission or noise rules. In Texas, I don't know what they check on motorcycles, but the place where I go does not even charge me for the inspection. I think they check if the turn indicators work, since nobody uses them, I guess it is important.2 points

Thanks. Good thinking. Will double check tonight. Got tank, seat & airbox off so will be easy to check. But in short time engine was running level in g/b sight glass when from full to bottom of glass. Smell of g/b fluid was strong to.1 point

All SpineRaids have things in common. SpineRaids in the southern US? Maybe more things in common than not..... Second South'n SpineRaid, 2006, Sweetwater, Tennessee: Yep, that's @Bill Hagan. Yep, they're fly fishin'. Uh, yep, in the parking lot . . .1 point

hate to annoy but 99.99% of the time, it's the hose. It can 'look' fine but at the rear where it attaches and just above the clamp, there could be deterioration only visible with close inspection, ie: move it around a bit.1 point

I love this concept, @Skip! How did you derive those dimensions and angles? Does the "half moon" cut-out index on the oil filter access cover or is it simply a relief cut for the access cover?1 point

No inspection up here either. DON'T SAY IT OUT LOUD Cheers Tom.1 point

And the breather hose is good ? Bolts on gearbox tight ? Yes had it happened on my Rosso Corsa. Cheers Tom.1 point

It could have been much worse, with other rider's getting hurt along with Josh. What's not seen in the last lap that Josh eluded to in his video breakdown was that the competition between Cam, Jake and Josh was second to none, epic, some say best ever American Superbike race ever. With 12 lead changes in 15 laps, I would agree. What I hope is that the MotoAmerica Medallia SuperBike Championship racing stays this entertaining all season long with all three winning a race.1 point

Moderator edit: Due to an ongoing confusion with another "idea" with a very similar name, the title and references to this important "idea" have been edited to: Kentucky Spine Raid spring Kentucky Spine Raid KSR sKSR Just to clarify, if possible, this is an entirely different "idea" than the longstanding "South'n SpineRaid" carrying on in Tellico Plains,Tennessee, the weekend after (US ) Labor Day:1 point

The history of green Moto Guzzi reportedly dates to Ing. Carcano's racing management in the late '40s and '50s. It has been said that Carcano was so obsessed with weight that he forbade painting the race bikes. Metal was left in the raw state or primed, commonly with zinc chromate (which exhibits a more greenish-yellow, perhaps the 'reference" for the metallic "Legnano Green " applied to the original Telaio Rosso V7 Sport of early to mid '70s and, later, at the introduction of the V11 Sport). What we commonly call "Tenni Green" is a luscious, rich satin spruce green (more blue-green than yellow-green) introduced on the 2002 V11 Tenni. Since then, this rich, spruce green has been applied to Stelvio, Griso, Centenary Special Editions, and now the V100 Mandello (although that "Mandello Green" looks decidedly glossier) . . . Perhaps it has become as enigmatic of "Guzzi" as our v-twin? I wonder if it is only the V11 community that refers to this as "Tenni Green?"1 point

As a user of photo and designer's application, I use colors a lot. Each color is easily represented by HTML or HEX color codes. I could easily upload a Tenni photo in my app. and get the color shown in the photo. But this is not the most accurate way. Unfortunately, most paint makers do not provide the exact color code to the public. Of course not! The color is always referenced to their own product catalogue. Maybe the V100S Green is the same as the Tenni? I am going to send them an email to verify if I can get a color code rather than a Lechler product reference.1 point

Let's say that image is "for reference only." I would rather (never again) "lead to the creation of a problem on the road ." Waddington has hunted me down before . . .1 point
