Nero in for a full service, A to Å. Yes even further than xyz, Å, 29 letters. 21 + years paint in black metallic came out amazing with 3layers of ceramic coating. Bloody hell, they bring so much joy. 47k km now, like new. Ok will do the bushings on the gear lever. Wrong bolt for the job, to many treds in the wrong place. IPA time yes. Cheers Tom. I installed a 12V DIGITAL LED meter on my 2007 Norge without fiddling around or tapping into the wiring, using a direct connection from the battery. This also fixes the always-on problem or parasitic drain, thanks to a touch-on and touch-off feature built into the meter. It cost $5 US from Amazon. I used a hole saw to cut into the upper flat part of the Norge fairing and ran the wiring directly from the battery. clicky>> https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Voltmeter-Digital-Waterproof-Motorcycle/dp/B0CQ881B52?gQT=1&th=1 point

No Swedish torque wrenches. 2 Snap-on, BRITOOL(UK),Usaq(Italia),Teng and Biltema. A good addiction. % no clue. Cheers Tom.1 point

Very complete set of torque wrenches! All the way from Umeå to Luleå and everywhere in between. A Greenie, a Coppa and a Nero...someone has an addiction to V11's I would say, what is that, approximately 30% of all of the V11's in Norway?1 point

That brings to mind the Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III. For the uninitiated, that was an homologation special based on a four door family car in the early '70s to race in a particular touring car class in Australia. Even though I'm more on the Holden side of the Ford-Holden debate, I have to admit it was a very, very interesting car. There was some special stuff on them, but nothing that couldn't be sourced after-market after a few years. The point is, sometime in the late '80s or early '90s I heard that there were substantially more of them currently registered than were ever produced. This is one, althought the yellow colour was not that commion, I think. I always think of them as white (with the stripes), or maybe red. Well, I'm not jealous. Not at all. Really. Weellll, maybe a tiny bit... One thing though: why is the Roper Plate hanging on the wall instead of doing it's thing in a bike? Ok, mine is not installed yet either, but I don't have a workshop like that for myself alone, and I still go to work for a living.1 point

I think you have me confused with someone else. I don't own a Daytona I own a mishmash bike that started as a Greenie and now has zero value to anyone even vaguely interested in originality or "numbers" A particular motorcycle brand has no particular emotional connection to me other than a technical interest and the obscure idea that I happen to like that piece of machinery. They are machines and thats it basically. I like some more than others. They have no real "meaning" in my life, just a way to express my engineering interest. Nothing more. Phil1 point

I finally have the luggage rack on the bike! It took a while to arrive, and even worse, it was a bit crooked and didn't want to fit! Thankfully we were able to bend it back and now it's on there perfectly straight. Unfortunately I also noticed a new scratch on the right side of the fairing today... The bike already has plenty of them, but this one is white and extra noticeable, so I'll have to sort that out.. But now that I can easily carry some luggage, I'm already planning a trip to Luxembourg with my brother later this month!1 point
