  1. Y'all don't have any excuses now that all the V11 Sports are vintage. As if you didn't feel old enough already. I'm headed back down there again with the crew from Portland. Looking forward to some motorcycles, southern bbq and adult beverages. The Mighty Garage will be filming and posting videos after the event. If I find any V11 Sports I'll be sure to capture them.

  2. You didn’t mention the part where I had to run back to the bikes when the line started to move.
  3. Victory! The first row of bikes to show up were all Guzzis! Then later some other Italian brands showed up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Somewhere I have pictures from the Lillington location. The kind of pictures you can hold in your hand. I need to look for them. And met Dave Blue at an Oregon Guuzi event a few years ago. Which cements NC and OR as the centers of the universe. True fact.
  5. Did Guzzi make other models? I was not aware.
  6. Last year on Italian Day at Portland Cars & Coffee was a motorcycle mega-load! But @activpop is eager to make a big showing from the V11 Sport crew this year. Sadly I can't commit yet but I hope some other folks can make it. @MotoKnee and @Gmc28 have been listed as possible attendees. For the details if you've never been before it's not actually in Portland... it's in Sherwood at Langers. 21650 SW Langer Farms Pkwy, Sherwood, OR 97140 It's a little tricky as you need to line up on Century Drive before 8am. Look for a slew of Ferraris and Lambos, plus a smattering of Alfas and Fiats. Something will show up that you've never seen before. Given that there are around 20 registered V11 Sport forum members in this area at least a few should be able to make it.
  7. I wasn't even talking about the V11, even a modern Guzzi with Mistrals would sound better than anything on that list.
  8. I contribute to the channel mostly with the drone footage and occasional guest appearances.
  9. Well, it is hard to defend American English, mutt language that it is.
  10. Apparently this guy has never heard a Moto Guzzi. I wouldn't turn my head for any of these bikes.
  11. It's not my video and it's an Englishman to boot. Who knows how they spell stuff over there... But seriously the correct term for the event was Concourse.
  12. Yes, kids a twofer! We started the day at Portland Cars & Coffee. They have featured vehicles during the summer and today was Motorcycles! It had been earlier in the year previously but it always rained. So I asked to move it later in the summer. You know what happened. Yup... it rained. Luckily stopping before the event. We are trying to get as many Nortons to show up as possible, with the goal of 50. Bold. We are lucky to get a dozen. It coincided with the Cornfield Concours hosted by the Moto Guzzi club. But since I had. to leave immediately from C&C I was still on the Norton. To be fair I took the Guzzi last year. A great event with a ride, show and lunch. And yes, the corn was delicous.
  13. Which is why I ride a Commando. No vibration.
  14. I'll remind you again that the V11 is now more than 25 years old, the threshold for vintage status with some clubs. Now do you feel old? Good. Alas only one V11 showed up but it's a stunner. Hopefully you'll enjoy some of the other bikes too. It was the Norton's turn to go for me. Next year I'll probably take the V11 because... it'll still be vintage too.
