I have the Condor version, two of them, and the Harbor Freight version bolted to the lift table. Invaluable for stationary work and for transport. This thing will vigorously hold a bike vertical without straps, though I do use 2 straps in the trailer. When I pulled my engine, the front tire rested in it, with 2 ratchet straps (in the rafters) lifting the rear
I also have one on the lift table. Roll the bike on and it stand by itself. Then you can leisurely put the straps on. You can pull the front part off with the bike on it if you need to remove the front wheel. I use a center stand for the bikes that have one or a flat jack for the Guzzi.

For us more frugal Guzzi owners.

I would never have a bike with a self-retracing side stand. I rode my dad's K75 and the side stand retracted when you pulled in the clutch.
On my 850T that I had and on my Nortons the side stands are so long you can't forget them. I have seen people ride off with those long side stand out but they were always drunk.

I have a feeling this is the owner or an employee of CitizenShipper... he used a disposable email address to sign up. But hey, if you are looking for a bike shipper, maybe this is an option.
I'm surprised you didn't delete it.

@swooshdave . . . .
And . . . so . . . what of this swoosh'stang?
It was only a year ago. Did you think I’d be done by now?
Been working on bikes instead.

I know which thread I'll apply that to first.

I'm still waiting to get pointed to the thread with the American cars...
-
Two things, just how many posts are there on American cars and secondly, how did I miss it?!?!?!?!?

Well, crap. Just up the road too. Decent price.
Why didn't you put them on? They'll sound great!

Despite being an endless tinker/modifier, I plan to keep this one just as she is, stock.
We’re going to hold you to this.

All good advice, thanks. I'm going to let the pro's figure that out. Both bikes are going to Chicago for the heart transplant. I was excited and wanted to see at least the tail on it and get an idea of how it fits. when the pump parts arrive, I'll also get that tank on. I'm going to pull the starter cover and have that remade in carbon, not skinned so if anyone would like a carbon starter cover chime in and you'll pay exactly what it costs..no mark up from me.
I bet you could presell more than a few. They do show up for sale occasionally.
You should get prices for a few ranges. 1, 10, 50.
Especially since they are readily available.

True..I do have a Tenni seat that'll be here Tuesday. I am going to take a ride down to Astech Seats to have them do their foam/gel custom sculpting thing and get that passenger part trimmed so the cover fits perfect. It does bolt up..and that's new tail I purchased from a member here. On the bottom of the seat there are two sections on either side that slip in between the tail. I had to sand those down a wee bit. All in all not bad for initial test fitting...
What has happened is the additional thickness of the tail section has raised the seat. The raise seat has raised the cowl which is attached to the seat.
A couple options:
Shorten the seat base. Normally this would be bad as it would hit stuff under the seat like the ECU but in your case it might work. Changing the seat base may require altering the foam and upholstery.
Shorten the seat and move the cowl mounting points. It's not just the foam that needs to be lowered but the cowl mounting points too. No need to trim the cowl. In fact if you do it may fit worse.

You have added thickness to parts. I would actually be surprised if they fit. The thicker carbon layer on the tail section has raised your seat. The cowl (because it's attached to the seat is going to be higher. To get the cowl to fit you'll need to lower the seat somehow. Or shorten the seat. No amount of sun is going to help.

We eagerly await the results of your experiment.

So they laid carbon fiber over the existing tank and seat? I hope the carbon fiber is flexible because the tank sure is. What happens when the tank swells? Are you hoping the lining prevents that?

I, for one (maybe the only one) am looking for a rear view camera setup with a single or dual screens atop the gauge cluster. I mean, you're gonna do a head check anyway, but since every car now has a backup camera, why not a rear view camera and no mirrors? I know someone will post a link here…
Mirrors are so old fashioned.

I wanted to, but I got distracted by a call from a pesky client while watching the video. Only had time to click the Like button.
So: Thanks for the video, and even more for mentioning this site. Seeing the v11lemans.com logo slide in made my weekThe appropriate action would have been to tell the client to hold on.
There's nothing wrong with you rewatching it 14 more times... not that I've done that.
If you look in the video's description you'll even see a link to the forum there.

Cool vid. Kinda reminded me of a Steve Irwin clip. I was waiting for the narrator to jump out from the camera and wrestle one of you. Guzzis in the wild.
Mike is a scrappy lad, I'm sure he could have taken us both on!

I did want to ask you though, as you rumbled up in the video, were the DBK's in or out of those Mistral pipes?
I didn't know they came with DBKs. How can you tell?

I can't believe no one mentioned the forum call out.

Side Stand Switch Not Killing

I think all the riding you do has kept it off the side stand just as much.
