Picked my Rosso Corsa up from Twiggers in Loughborough today, following throttle body balance & fixing a slow puncture that was due to a leaky valve. Great ride back home, with the bike more responsive than ever

NK03XMU Currently living in a carcoon in my garage. But it’s going back on the road in the next few weeks. I’ve hardly used it during the 2 years that I’ve had it, but currently I’ve got 5 other Guzzi’s and I only put them on the road in the spring & summer. I just tax 2 at a time, SORN the rest and alternate them. It is a fabulous bike. I’ll probably be taking a V11 to the Guzzi stand at the Festival of 1000 Bikes in July. It’ll either be the Rosso Corsa or the silver V11 Sport. Rosso (and Nero) Corsa’s are really rare in the UK, but there is currently one on eBay asking price somewhat optimistically £8250! Ill find a way of PMing my email and no to you. I hope you have fully recovered from your back surgery and are enjoying biking again

Joe, looking at Ghezzi Brian’s website they don’t list any prices, therefore I assume everything is POA and you have to reach out for a quotation by email ? I like the look of that carbon belly pan for my burgundy “grape ape” V11

Hello Veggy, I’ve had the bike for just over 2 years. It’s previous owner lived near Tamworth, and he bought it from Teasdale Motorcycles around 2 years previously. It’s only had 3 previous owners before me. Looking back at all the old MOT certs it looks like the first owner lived in the NE and kept the bike for around 11 years. The last time it was MOT’d in Newcastle was during 2014, then in 2015 it was MOT’d in Warrington - was this you?

Took the “grape ape” V11 for its annual MOT roadworthyness test today. A pass so it’s back on the road after the winter hibernation. Oil & filter changed, but it needs a good tune up,

Totally differently focused bikes I’ve had 3 big Triumph triples in recent years, including the previous generation 1050 Speed Triple. Loved it, no issues with reliability or build quality with any; the 1050 triple motor was a peach, smooth & torquey with the characteristic triple howl helped by an Arrow titanium system. Great hooligan bike, felt I wanted to ride it everywhere at 100+ mph, just couldn’t gently bimble around on it. Sold it because I was spending more time on the Griso and V11 Sport just riding less aggressively, and in its place I bought a MT01. Whilst I love the look of the new Speed 1200 RR I don’t think I’d now be able to get on with the ergos

At a roadside Burger Van type cafe that some of us hang out on summer Sunday mornings, an older guy with a Honda cub (70 cc drum braked cub, not the modern 125 injected model!) is always there, if I’m on a Guzzi he’ll reminisce about the days 35 years ago he had a Le Mans Mk2. At least he’s still on 2 wheels, you could probably have a lot of fun on a Honda cub. Here it is next to my “grape ape” V11. If I had to seriously downsize to a lightweight you could do a lot worse than a modern cub
