The Mivv's without the DB silencers have a loud bark especially in engine braking.

Beautiful red frame w some painted bits & carbon fiber. Looks like later gen gauges installed too.

If you had the funds to invest in a new old stock crate bike to get running, you would probably have a talented Moto Guzzi motorcycle mechanic to set it up correctly. My vote would be to get the bike running to tip top shape and ride it, sort of the same as Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum . Motorcycles are not built to be caged in boxes their whole life.

Reminds me of this Triumph out of a crate, the Guzzi might start up with fluids and a battery.

Nice bike, but sky high price. -
I’m a service manager for a company in the elevator industry. Most electrical components like drives, pc boards, soft starts and lastly older design relays are made in China. Parts procurement during the COVID era has been abysmal as provinces have been shut down in the supply chain, aka a China. So everything is already made in China, even if it’s branded with a western company name. Lastly the prices have almost doubled from pre-covid era. Because of this, we get drives repaired, typically the repair shop has 70 in line on the floor to be repaired, so lead times are 21-23 days before they even look at it. Sorry about the rant, but Chinese parts are the source for electrical parts.

Moto Guzzi V100 Sport Tourer: water cooled, 120 HP (26th of August 2021)
Joe replied to p6x's topic in Newer models
Not sure if this is going to work, but a screen shot pic of a V100 Mandello FB post, anyways a new V100 with motor issues stemming from a C-clip not installed correctly on a rocket arm shaft. Which is exactly what Giuseppe was trying to say….. -

p6x, I’ve owned 4 Guzzi’s, all big block air cooled, 3-1100, 1-850. I love Guzzi’s with all of their quirks of ownership. I think Giuseppe loves Guzzi’s too, just after production has been vetted out, that’s a fair statement. I’ve got to say, I’m still drawn to the V100 like a fly to a bug zapper, but am trying to refrain till I see them run a little. -

Maybe one can see the direction of the company as where they spent the development money. Piaggio spent it on the Euro 5 compliant small block and a completely new water cooled "Big Block". That said, look at the California model, a Moto Guzzi staple from 1971 to 1921, once they gave up on that model (1400 couldn't make Euro 5), all that's left is the future. Probably another Stelvio along side the V100, its a different customer base than the California EV set. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moto_Guzzi_California#:~:text=Moto Guzzi have produced a,Italian furniture maker Poltrona Frau.
