  1. In Europe, One make series has being going on for years, Harley, honda, triumph, yamaha, ktm, bmw, suzi, aprilia and ducati have all done it in recent times, its actually a good cheap way of going racing. I saw a bmw only race at a world superbike meeting once with ex gp racers taking part. Good fun.
  2. First i have heard, Care to elaborate.
  3. Unlucky. ah well time to get some pazzo levers, Not cheap but worth it. there is a guy on here sells them, cant remember his name but if you do a search you should find him. Failing that i have a clutch lever which i could trade for your carbon fibre fairing. Gary
  4. Thanks for the reply and info Haydn. I will have a go at it this morning once i have got the shock proof heavy oil drips off the carpet
  5. Just took off the cover to change my spring, I am thinking i have a extra part . there is a single plate connecting both selector shafts (under the circlips) and the plate is also connected to the gearchange lever pin (no.20 on drawing C7) but this part and screw are not on the drawing. Looking at BFG,s side cover photo you would normally just remove the circlips, remove the selectors to access the spring!!!!. Anyway the screw is tight as F**k should i remove the nut on the outside of the casing or bash the sh*t out of it with a impact driver and a suitably heavy hammer or think about it in the pub for a while. Gary

  20. I used to work with a shetlander who helped organise it many years ago, maybe still does. He invited me up to the rally once but i didnt go. I lived about 1 mile from the ferry in aberdeen and the campsite was about 2 miles from the ferry at the other end, i mean my bikes engine wouldnt have even been warm and i would have arrived. Should have went, the roads up in shetland are made for bikes and are empty.
