    on my 02, the bubbling paint is only on the block, tranny got the good paint. My rear drive has flaked slightly but I don't think it's the same paint as the block. Yes, bring a gift! Cuban cigars? Bourbon, gas card?

    I have carried the spring and directions to fix under my seat for 26,000+ miles in my 2002 Lemans.. maybe because I'm prepared but I like to think my bike is outside the list of those that seem to fail... you should get it! I say as I'm about to let mine go..life changes, my pup Pink can't ride pillion.

    My Lemans (got it out first time of season today) sounds tough! like a race car but not NASCAR Mistral cones, Viola! all that green is last summer.. M&D got 10" on last Wednesday, My Buell has just the right V twin vibes too.. does not sound like a Harley, more like a serious piece of machinery, a Kubota maybe.

    I saw that as I was racing to the Erik Buell news.. the dude is Awesome.. I almost want to go work for him. I already want the 1190AX that won't be shown till end of this year. for now my Uly is the main ride and Lemans sits on the stand..

    no, the pump runs continuous (once running) and had a regulator to maintain pressure, extra fuel is pumped back into the tank.

    fuel tank breather lines seem to be kink free do you have tank suck when you pop the filler? is the tip over valve in place and oriented right? if there is one? I don't buy the both injectors bad at same time.. still have the charcoal canister hooked up?

    I would stay away from the first one. leaks and new timing cover, broken fin? new camshaft? sound like it's had a hard life. and the Scurra had the single plate clutch, I wouldn't touch that one either.

    I have those mufflers with db killer and Mistral x-over.. I'm happy with them but the sound is a bit raspy, not as mellow as the Guzzi Ti cans.

    can't reaaly tell in your pic.. isn't the oil light sposed to come on when you start up and then go right off? mine does most of the time like the gen light but not everytime, typical Guzzi electrics.

    My Lemans does that weeping thing too but the level never gets low enought to add oil.. so I pretty much live with it and clean ocasionally.

    yes at least get the crossover, it is the weak spot in stock set up. it fixed a hickup/cough I was having around 3200 rpm.. after that I added the reverse cones, probably cut 20 pounds of the bike.

    could you have baxked into something? happenend to me once unloading from a trailer and it struck something. I fixed it with the pieces and JBWeld.

    I do not need a Power commander just good tuning with VDST.
