  1. PM sent @bbolesaz
  2. So, push in the white catch tabs all around to separate the switch. The contacts and wiring will reveal themselves.

  5. Also, Arizona heat or not, these oil cooler lines run from the frame mounted oil cooler to the engine's sump. A dramatic vibration transition. The lines tend to abut the front subframe and get abraded. Finding the contact points and insulating them is good method . . .
  6. A 'whisperer' . . .
  7. Not only do I love Wayne, but Wayne-with-a-Hammer!
  8. I'll bet the "reduction" adapter is cheaper and more available than the line . . . but, IDK . . .
  9. Makes me wonder if some of our trusted sources for "old" Guzzi parts might still have them. Like MGCycle/Wisconsin, USA. Or even TLM, HMB, or Stiein-Dense in Europe. gstallons (as always) makes a good point: these are common lines that could be "made-up" locally.
  10. So, I am getting 01 16 16 90 for the outboard oil delivery line for your 2002 and 01 16 23 90 for the inboard return line, with the duplex O-ring sealing. Looks like your part numbers are for the earlier lines with the AN style coupling. My parts catalogs show the numbers ending in "30" are the earlier (AN/flared) type.
  11. Here are the part numbers for the sump adapters to use the AN line: "Reduction" (sump adapter the line attaches to) for your O-ring style line: 01 16 13 31 Earlier style "reduction"/adapter for the flared AN style fitting: 01 16 13 30 Some vendors use the "GU" prefix in their parts searches.
  12. I think I have you covered, buddy. I ran into this same discovery a few years back. The "flange" is an AN fitting used on the early Sports. Can you simply renew those double Viton O-rings to address the leak?
  13. Just under three months to the Seventeenth South'n SpineRaid, and what Centenary Celebration we can offer. These things need to be done just so. A matter of stewardship . . .
  14. No one has to explain their avatar or their username, but that avatar . . . not sure what that alloy panel is . . . Pretty sure it's not a tattoo (but it could be!! )
  15. Yep, that is low fuel on an early Sport (chin-pad, external pump/filter) tank. The right "lobe" holds up to 0.8 US gallons of "fuel." Or is it half (or more) of accumulated detritus, water, and "binary azeotropes?" Draining the fuel from the regulator return hose will only drain the left side "lobe." The right side lobe will have to be siphoned from the filler at the top, or the regulator removed, or the tank removed and turned on its head. Fully draining your tank should be properly shielded from the public eye . . . @czakky knows how I wait for these moments . . .
  16. @Bbennett deserves his own topic, IMO . . .
  17. @Bbennett deserves his own topic, IMO. I hope you're cool with this, Bb! We all want to pile on and fix your Sport from the comfort of our comfy seats and glowing monitors. And, as much, not let our V11 fall prey to "What-ever-it-was" . . .
  18. No way! How could that happen?
  19. How many US gallons was the fill-up?
  20. This makes me recall freeing up the rotor on the carrier by cleaning the buttons and bumping the rotor toward the center in a “star pattern”. Perhaps that is the freeplay @Flooky is concerned with? Otherwise , +1 with GuzziMoto on no rotational play.

    V11 Custom Builds

I was pressed for time and on my mobile device earlier when I posted that reply, but wanted to give credit to @v11_meticcio for posting that link a couple days ago:
  22. Thank you, as well, for your kind wishes! I spent most of this weekend finally getting my other bike back on the road after three months. A story like yours makes my effort seem rather trivial. Yet, isn't it absolutely fabulous to go riding on something we have been rather deeply into? You must have been just elated to be riding your Greeeeenie! After a delightful ride on my sweet little (rebuilt) Honda single this morning (running from the rain!), I did take mySport out for a decent romp through the countryside (88 miles/142 km). My, my but what a difference triple the horsepower and a properly set up suspension! I am so happy for you, now riding your lovely prize! This is a delight to see:
  23. Cool thing is they will set up custom voltages for the color and flash changes. I made a table of what I would prefer for the Odyssey PC545 AGM, but never made the order from SparkBright. They're in the UK, yah?
  24. Thanks, @jetboy ! That ebay image shows the correct G8HE from-C "made in USA." Of course ink is cheap, but I'm being cynical.
  25. She looks great out on the road! Congratulations and well done! I share your confidence that a full tune will make a (fantastic) difference . . .
