  1. Hi Jon, John William's phone number is on his website The Tank Shop. He does not communicate via e-mail and prefers phone calls. The price I paid was also posted on his site and when I bought it was 450 British Pouinds. Based on the costs of replacing with a "new" plastic one, even if you could get one, this was a bargain IMHO. He told me he had done one previously and why he said he was quicker than his stated 20 weeks. I was tempted to change the shape/style but where I was keeping the stck tail (at least for now) I thought a replica would be the best option for me. Bob The fuel tank is absolutely beautiful...........
  2. What I meant was that the very same description could equally have applied to Eric, Jack & Ginger = Cream and particularly the latter two. Oh yeah.... They were the ultimate SuperGroup.

  5. GVWR is the gross vehicle weight rating. The total weight of the vehicle, operator, passenger and all loads on the vehicle. The answer to the first ? is ....... this bike will stand up to the GVWR with no troubles. The answer to the second ? is.........if either operator or passenger is female, we cannot answer or discuss that question.......

  9. No, it's new. A good enough rendition of Blind Willie McTell. Mind you, I have posted about a brokedown engine before. Brokedown, as in "song" or the succubus Griso ?
  10. Get the entire assembly and give it a liberal dose of white grease on the inner part before you install it.
  11. If it sounds like something is falling apart when you pull the clutch in, it is a dual disc setup.
  12. This is looks good. My Bmeer needs a battery. I think I will swap batteries round n put one on my bike.
