  1. They want what they can't have..........
  2. Are these key blanks available in the U.S. ?
  3. I just walked outside in the shop to check mine. It is a 14mm hex on the r.h. side. Maybe someone else has damaged it . Try tapping it (the tool) in to see if it goes ?

    WORTH $5500

Palo Alto Speedo Service can fix (around $300) the instruments , if you are a pretty good mechanic you can fix the fork leak . There are seals , wipers and bushins that need to be replaces. There are special fork oils for USD forks so don't use just any fluid. These are the most enjoyable motorcycles ever built. Moto Guzzi was not made for everyone , and not everyone was made for Moto Guzzi.
  5. Do the helmet lock. The tamper-proof screws aren't that bad !
  6. Yep !
  7. You have answered your own question. Yes , the key works all locks on the bike. The helmet lock has screws that break off the head , so you will have to grind the remainder to get the helmet lock off. Good luck !
  8. I do not have a parts catalogue or part # in front of me. The shop manual shows these located below the rocker arm assembly. There are 4 total for each side. These become brittle with age and need to be replaced. You do not need to remove the cylinder head to repair this leak. Do you have a service manual ?
  9. I have looked at the area you are describing in the picture. Yes , it will be the o-ring I described. Do you have a parts diagram to look at ? You may have gotten them in the parts order you got.
  10. Konstantin, If you have oil leaking between the cyl head and cylinder , it is an o-ring below the rocker arm pivot that is leaking..... You do not need to do all the work you are planning.
  11. What ever it takes to fill it. This is due to fuel tank bulge. And a smart-alec answer.
  12. There are different "grits" of Scotchbrite pads. You can use the mildest to clean up the piston surface. Any pitting or scoring means it's time to replace it. When you have cleaned the piston , clean the caliper bore with a fine bristle wire brush to get all dirt , debris , etc. out of it . Clean everything up with Brakekleen and use a brake asembly fluid to put it back together. A firm thumb pressure will be needed to bottom out the piston. Reassemble and bleed.
  13. Do you own a torque wrench ? You have to torque thes fasteners and do it in a criss-cross pattern or you will have more trouble.
  14. Like for every 1 Krone of value , you pay 1.7 Krone in tax ? Is that the same on automobiles ?
  15. yeah...........do something about the purple mufflers. I don't know what the PO was thinking ?
  16. The job is done. Thanks to the others who donated. I hope they (the head guards) get there in time .
  17. You should let me ride it this spring/summer to make sure there are no problems w/the bike. I would hate for you to be stranded on the side of the road , etc.......
  18. The Coppa has the best paint scheme of all the bikes !
  19. Do you have Onibaka"s address ?
  20. It's Dec 14 and 7 days until the end of the world , or 11 days to Christmas. Someone chimed in about getting Onibaka some head guards . I'm in , who else wants to participate ? We need an address, etc. for them to get there. Speak up "Time's a wastin" * ! * Snuffy Smith
  21. Make them look "used", send them seperately and put them in Christmas boxes. I will give some $ also. I don't know if gifts are taxed through customs or not. p.s. I returned some stuff ( about $300.00) to Agostini's , duty was going to eat up the value of the parts. I told Agostini to tell them to throw it in the trash.
  22. The only reason you would disconnect the neg lead first is because if your wrench were to touch the neg battery terminal to the frame or a ground you would do no harm. Do this with the positive lead and you have firework$ !
