  1. These kind of statements make me proud that I started this forum in 2002! [emoji482] HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
  2. My V11 gearbox has about 40.000 kms, still the original spring
  3. I've edited the registry!
  4. My starter button was a bit corroded at one time. Took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together, problem solved.
  5. It's plug and play, although a valve en TPS check beforehand is a good thing
  6. FYI: Rotors are the same as on early Aprilia RSV models
  7. I don't think WP shocks were ever mounted on V11 production bikes. Either Sachs-Boge or Öhlins. Maybe on the prototypes?
  8. I know we all are getting dependent on computers more and more, but for Pete Roper's sake, who needs a MacBook for drilling holes in the airbox lid?
  9. That very much looks like Belgium. I recognize the ugly building style
  10. It's a great bike that handles beautifully and has plenty of real world power! I love the looks of the bike, but I'm 6'4" and sitting ON the bike and not IN the bike It felt a bit awkward (and it probably looked a bit awkward too :-) ) Furthermore, it has no wind/weather protection. You have to ride it yourself!
  11. Didn't know you were fluent in Dutch! [emoji16]
  12. True. A little more ride height would have been nice.
  13. Plan is to leave Saturday to do a week trip to the New Forest region with a visit to the V-twin rally in Fordingbridge afterwards. Can any of you (UK) members recommend campsites in that area? On my to-do list so far: Sammy Miller Museum, Beaulieu Motor Museum and the Bovington Tank Museum (I want to see all the Tamiya models I used to build in my teens in real life) If you have anymore touristic pointers, roads I need to ride, warnings or other helpful information I would be grateful!
  14. Should we rename this thread? F.i. What tire is it?
  15. I 'm stiil convinced this one should be mine.
  16. Running Conti Road Attacks on my V11 and now on my 1200 Sport for ages. Great tyres. Also in the wet.
  17. Oh,the guy looking at it at the workshop told me the pushrod was OK too,I forgot to mention that.Do you know what could have caused those bad clearances on that bike you saw? From what I remember it was a case of an extremely worn pushrod. So it must have been a production problem. The bike was almost new
