  1. Hoping for the above but it could also be a bad pushrod. I've seen a 2005 Cafe Sport once with similar clearances
  2. Almost all on Guzzis are plain metric bolts and nuts. Just buy some different sizes at your local hardware store for little money and try.
  3. Hahaha, I shared this pic on my favorite Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/95218296813
  4. FWIW, my original V11 clutch fitted w/o problems to the Centauro engine. So vice versa must be the case also.
  5. Another culprit could be the starter solenoid. It died twice on me already.
  6. FWIW, the dash on my 1200 sport sais 11.8v too, but it starts w/o a problem. Check the blue 15A fuse.
  7. I own a 1200 sport from new and have done about 25.000 kms now. Check the battery connections for corrosion and tightness. My 15A fuse went a couple of times and I have yet to find the culprit. Carry spares. Please keep in mind that imo the V11 handles much better. I had to do a lot of fiddling with the stock suspension to take it to an acceptable level. The grunt of the 1200 2valve engine makes up for everything. It never let me down. Love it, but keep in mind it's not a sportsbike!
  8. Thanks for the pics! Great stuff. Love that Panther sloper.
  9. I know for a fact that Guzzirider from 'Uddersfield has good experiences with Maxton
  10. Not a SM, but I got this for my birthday: Highly recommended!!!
  11. Bearing sizes have all been mentioned in the 13 years this forum is online. A thorough search will get you all the info you need
  12. Maybe this page gives some insight? http://www.mgcn.nl/mg-framenummers
  13. Duhhh. I feel stupid now. That is part of it. Thanks for the clue, I needed one! Engine is also off the center line , 13mm to the drive side ->right. -KG- AFAIK the V11 with the 6 speed gearbox has the engine in the middle. The older models with the 5 speed box are off with 13 mm. Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  14. Why for Pete's sake buy bearings from MG? V11 wheel bearings are very common sizes. You can order/buy them at every automotive store for a lot less money.
  15. Sorry mmcool, overlooked your post. You're in now!
  16. Hi Hank, I changed the registry accordingly. Welcome to the forum and enoy the Tenni!
  17. Congratulations ! And don't forget: you can't start early enough with Moto Guzzi indoctrination. [emoji6] Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  18. The biggest (and most expensive) modification for quicker handling are lighter wheels. After I fitted the OZ wheels, I got a completely different bike! And if you're really adventurous, you can steepen the angle of the fork by cutting and welding the frame and lenghten the swing arm...
  19. No, the registry is up to date
  20. Never heard of Melody Gardot, but she quite something! Here's a Dutch pop/country singer who tried to make it in the States. I like Ilse de Lange. Not only is she good singer (and a looker) but she's from the same part of NL as I am. And she's not afraid to speak our dialect on national TV.
  21. Just a suggestion: This thread could be a lot more interesting if one actually shared it's music by linking to the video. It's easy, just copy/paste the link (URL) in your message!
  22. From the dark corners of the Canadian music industry: https://vimeo.com/3554167 I recently rediscovered this CD in my attic where it has been hiding itself behind the Christmas decorations. Listening to it brought back some good memories of my 4 years of study.
  23. Van isn't around very often. I'll take care of the entry in the registry
