  1. It's toast.
  2. There's nothing like "the tree" but my career of playing bass poorly is over.
  3. Hi, John.. it's just my left hand was worn out from being a mechanic all my life..and playing stand up bass, I think. My thumb was especially bad from..I think again.. repetitive stress from using the tool changer on the cnc mill. At any rate, the cutter put in some new parts and says I'll be good to go in 12 weeks.
  4. Very nice, Tim.
  5. Hiya Pete.. yeah, not posting much. One handed "hunting and pecking" sucks. Finished the wings except for varnish a couple of days before I went to the cutter. We've been (probably) over cautious, but so far so good. Thanks for asking..
  6. Nothing I could tell. Probably air.
  7. ^^^^ I did that a thousand times on the Rosso Corsa. It looked better, but once there's a bubble..it really makes no real difference.
  8. I really like the looks of that, but a guy would have to come up with something to keep from trashing the rear shock. Do you know where it comes from, LP?
  9. Well, I would *normally* be out there and could do it.
  10. That's what I get for not watching tv..
  11. I'll take door number three, Alex..

    Mille GT?

Yes, it's a good bike.. small valve engine. I was stricken by a red Mille when I was still riding BMWs. Fortunately that Bring More Wallet Bavarian Money Waster thing was temporary.
  13. Ahem. That would be Skorpion.. and kool bike for sure.
  14. In most photo programs, you will see Direct, BB (bulletin board) code.. it has the .img.. and HTML. After the latest upgrade to this site, BB no longer works, and you have to choose "Direct."
  15. You have to use the "Direct" option instead of img.
  16. It sounds to me like lack of a Roper plate may have run the bottom end. At any rate, don't run it again without pulling the sump and seeing if that is the case. Have you done a lot of WFO acceleration?
  17. Nope, that didn't work, either. Apparently, Flickr doesn't play well. I downloaded it, put it in Imgzeit and used "direct." I'll try to remember. Thanks, Docc.
  18. Normally, when we are out over Xmas, you can't get much higher than Newcomb's. That's why I stay in the SMMs. Certainly, one of my most epic rides was when Guzzi Bob, two other old farts and I lit up the crest from the bottom to the top. Perfect day, and unforgettable...
  19. I normally spend my time in the Winter in the Santa Monicas. Old riding buddy, Guzzi Bob(RIP) lived near the crest. We rode literally thousands of miles together. I still miss him when I go out to SoCal..
  20. This is normally the time I start to think about going out to SoCal for 1000 miles or so of canyon riding. Not this year..
  21. That'll buff out.. but if you would want, they are rebuildable. Cheap.
  22. I *like* Pyro Dan, and his relays are very good. That said, for the V11S, Omrons are more better.
  23. awesome..
  24. Horry Carp!
