  1. ^^^^ I've had ice on the seat of the Centauro. If you're camping, you don't have much choice.
  2. Way cool, Scud. More, please..
  3. Try to have a good time, Scud.
  4. I'd stick it in there with something. Have you checked to see if it's dead or not? It doesn't care about fuel in the tube, it is a thermistor. Voltage warms it up, and if there is fuel around it, it stays cool enough to not turn on the light. As the fuel level drops, more of it is exposed, and the low fuel light will barely glow. The warmer it gets, the brighter the light will get until it is at full brightness. Make sense? The old fuel level sensors were nothing but an off on switch which drove you crazy. Many people unhooked them.
  5. Well, it's pressed into the plastic tube. It should be hard to move.
  6. ^^^^ I actually saw one of those once. It's even uglier in person.
  7. I've never seen that color. Kool.
  8. Welcome. You've already found the best source in the world. I'm not *that* familiar with the Cafe Sport, but isn't that the original configuration?
  9. I had to be competent in fiche to get my A&P license. The examiner knew some diabolical "gotchas.."
  10. No, the silver tip shouldn't move. That's the sensor.
  11. Thanks for taking us along..
  12. Piaggio response =
  13. If it's a 2003, you should be able to do it with the bent and ground nozzle. 2017-03-21_12-21-46 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr
  14. V11 Sport.. the last of the *real* Guzzis.
  15. FTFY
  16. Yep rear brake. My Centauro freaked me out the first time it did it.
  17. ^^^^^ I get mine from Aircraft Spruce.. I've never seen zinc chromate in a paint store.. it's dangerous if you don't respect it.
  18. She was installed by Todd at MPH (RIP) when Pete had it shipped out of N.H. to do the dual plate clutch, and many little things. She'll be there as long as I'm the keeper of the Mighty Scura..
  19. Washed the chook. She'd been complaining about bugs in her feathers since the Carolinas mini Spine raid. When she clucks, I listen.. she's kept me safe for many thousands of miles. 2017-08-18_03-06-47 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr I hated to tell her she's going bald with age.
  20. You are likely to get burnt for that, Docc. Italian ladies tend to not be terribly forgiving of a wandering eye..
  21. As can be seen with the K line video, it's not rocket science. Just good standard machine shop practice, and no special tools, other than the rivet hammer, which is readily available cheaply.
  22. Shoulda gone red. Just kidding..
  23. Attaboy, Docc, and Scud. Btw.. this forum is priceless for V11S owners. Maybe a small donation to Jaap is in line? I've made the same pitch at WG. There was a guy stuck at a gas station in BF somewhere, posted, got his answer and rode off. A 10% donation of what he would have paid to have his bike towed to some dealer, and the bill from them would be cheap. I'll get off my soap box now.. but we all need to support this forum, it's the best in the world if you have a V11S.
  24. As Nike used to say, Just do it. It's a known issue..
