  1. There are available body kits for these bikes now that fit the round headlight instead of the square one on the model bike. So if Yamaha never sells it here, there're options. This is the bodykit that I'm writing about: Is this bike mechanically the same as the MT09?
  2. @GuzziMoto Zarco was on KTM at the very beginning of their entry. There might've been lots of reasons. Perhaps slow development or ignoring his input. He is a different category of rider for sure, considering his unpredictable results positive and negative.
  3. @GuzziMoto I don't think Zarco had a choice if he wanted to stay in MotoGP. I think Martin's tires were gone, one lap too many....

I see the bike has 14k miles on it, so it's been ridden.
  5. I see that Rahal is sponsoring a pair of Duc V2's for Moto Am Supersport with Ben Spies as manager. He and his son own a couple bike dealers in Indy including Ducati. Wayne is getting the program going now. I wonder if the Daytona 200 will get back to snuff? I might even attend another one.
  6. x = cross r = racing s = street Honda: cb = city bike xt = 4 stroke trail xr = 4 stroke competition Suzuki GSXR = Grand Sport eXperimental- Racing RR = race replica
  7. I think I posted that I had a failed Omron a few weeks ago. Replaced it with one my dozen take-offs (I have two bikes). Actually haven't played relay roulette since then. I also use Deox spray and CRC contact cleaner.
  8. I think my bike had the issue a few years ago IIRC. I was riding it and parked it. Bike wouldn't start. Totally dead. Needed a regulator. I still play with the relays.
  9. US Road Racing has been in the tank for 15 years. The manufacturers pulled out and the last two talents are gone from MotoGP. It's not bounced back. The Daytona 200 is a mere shadow of itself. There are more opportunities in Flat Track and Moto Cross. MA has made some incremental advancements. So the opportunities are largely gone here and the whole scene has shifted to Europe. That being the lower Moto classes and perhaps British and Spanish racing are the places to start. It's a young man's game, so not many teeneagers are moving to Europe. I'd suggest that we have better regional racing and perhaps some spec racing bikes that might be under the MA umbrella that keep the costs and travel down. Then have a few national events for championships. This has been done, just not with a lot of sponsorship. Flat Track is able to fund a national schedule even for the amatuer classes although the top class only has a dozen bikes.
  10. I've never gone down to a 160, 'd like to try it. I think the bike is agile enough for its weight but am a little concerned about stability. I'm in the other camp so far as tire life. The bike has plenty of off the line torque and I find the bike eats tires. In fact, all my radial tired bikes seem to eat their rears.
  11. The bike is on consignment and just gotten in the shop yesterday. Likely won't be listed on his website. Advise to call and ask. It's somewhere in the $4250 range but not firmed up.
  12. Saw this one on consignment as Motiv in OKC. Looks to be good bike. Needs a polish and some touch up to valve covers. Needs transmission brace which the shop will do. Also CF bikini fairing. https://www.motivcycleworks.com/
  13. My brake seem ok. how do I know to change them out? They seem to stop and OK and dont vibrate. I've never changed out rotors on any bike. I've only changed pads. All my Guzzis have EBC HH pads. For my Duc, by comparison, the Brembo organic pads (DD? CC?) seem to stop better and have better feel. A fellow from the forum sold me all 4 OEM front for $40. Anyway. I could use advice and pass on my experience.
  14. Sport i just sold for $6700 on BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-moto-guzzi-1100-sport-3/
  15. If it fits, you must acquit.
  16. I was swarmed by wasps when I was a preschooler. I was swollen so badly that my ears turned inside out they actually called a doctor (housecall!) and he gave me antivenom shot. SInce then I've been bitten a few more times and even a single bite causes me great swelling. As a public service notice, I recommend getting some Benadryl. Certainly go for bigger than recommended dose but don't OD either.
  17. I need one for my EV. Not been available for sometime. Just have to use trip meter.
