clean it off and spray some talcum powder on it. You should be able to trace the leak. I had a timing cover gasket leak.

I got an upgraded Beeline (metal case) after the first one failed. It's worked OK. Hopefully it won't fail too. I used their web trip planner recently and it worked quite well. Recommend it. I think the Bee2 has a little more sophisticated graphics than the original? I like the simplicity and layout of it. I used to write notes down with highway numbers and turns and put it in tank bag map pocket. This is essentially the same with the advantage of getting a real time distance countdown to the next turn.

I think it might be burned up. Otherwise, I won't need it

gees, i hope my starter switch can be rewired and fixed. nevermind. just bought it. If I don't need it. will let you know

I suppose the rationale for MM93 was a business one. So far as a racing decision, we'll see. For me, I think all three deserve factory bikes in three different garages on three different teams. It would be a hoot if Martin wins the title, I'm sure he's picked a lot of new fans, me being one.

So who will win first? Acosta's first or MM's next?

Mine will occasionally stumble off idle, it's particularly concerning when making a turn in an intersection from a stop. A quick grab of the clutch and bump the throttle grip. My bike runs good otherwise, PC tuned, perhaps a little rich. When my bike was dyno'd, the paper showed a downward spike at aprx 1800. I've noticed that new plugs help quite a bit.

Nope. The F4 was perhaps even a better example. This is why since the '70's, design has focussed on reliability and maintainability.
-
In the military world, even the most high tech and complicated fighter aircraft are designed considering design trade-offs for reliability and maintainability. Training and logistics being the key to maintain readiness.

Don't worry Phil, so far as simple, those electric motors are supposed to go forever.

2024 Cedar Vale, Kansas Rally - May 16-19, 2024

Michael D and I rode up there for lunch yesterday. Got to see a lot of the crew, even just for a hello and handshake. I missed last year. Everyone was so friendly, I'm sorry I didn't set up camp for the weekend. I'm reassured that I've kept my friends, I won't make the mistake of missing them again. Had lunch in Sedan for BBQ. Rode through the Flint Hills at Windmill Farm. The Duc is perfect for those fast sweepers with a sweet spot of 80-100. Got the Ducati into a little te-ta-te with a new Corvette. I was even with him until 135, when I ran of horsepower and courage. I'm still embarrassed that the Greenie still in the shop. -

I read they are restricting aero to some degree or at least setting parameters based on the max width allowed for the front of the bike.

I noticed that 170 size tires have just about dried up. You guys seem to like 160 on the red frames?

"Cool" passes from one generation to the next. I don't think the Stones or the Beatles will ever go out of style like Frank or Elvis, at least not in my lifetime. I think those bands were not only revolutionary but had enough self awareness and genuine quality that transcends style. They've had a hell of run, from the '64 and still going. Not perhaps at the very top anymore but still near the top of their game. The remaining Dead are able to reassemble and have relied upon a family of musicians and dedicated following.

Yes, I think Hackney is the best Stones record since Tattoo You, although Stripped is really good but it's all legacy stuff. This record isn't in the category of the current big hits. I'm guessing the Stones fans are too old and the music isn't relating to the younger folk. But the music business is changed. The band rocks, they're really solid group, the songs are some gems. So for as what shows and where I'll go this year is a real question mark. At least I can say I've seen the Stones a few time. The last time in 10k seat indoor arena with a 2nd stage and walkway. Mick looked my in the eye every time he turned left, I was his visual stage mark. They played "Moonlight Mile", the only tour they ever played so far as I know. Did they open with Honky Tonk or Start Me Up? or?
-
Paul, I might pick them up in Denver or St Louis. Maybe Memphis. Bev and I are considering Dead & Co at the Sphere and TTB in T-town. Talk about a logistics exercise. Hackney is the best new Stones studio in 40 years. Did Chanel sing "Sounds of Heaven, Sympathy, Shelter, or Can't Always Get"? All or some? Someone should post "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" here. Great Stones gospel.

this lost me on the first 20 seconds, turned it off with "food on the table"
