  1. I took my ITI speedo off a couple of years ago. There was some attempt at getting a gear made but nothing came of it. Tomorrow I'll see what's in the box & let you know. Cheers
  2. That’s a good looking bike ! I’ve always like the red models.
  3. That’s probably the case; I’ll be there with an enthusiastic fellow Guzzista If you’re bringing the trailer take both bikes =)
  4. Here's a 2004 in Illinois https://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-Moto-Guzzi-V11-/173379247940
  5. Scud, That 2004 Cafe Sport that was up for sale near you is on E bay again for $6500-. That is a great deal. Not that I'm encouraging this addiction........
  6. Nihontochicken, where are you based ? I'd assumed 'El lay' refered to LA California
  7. Try giving Pete a shout directly, he's on the forum here. He's a generous man with his knowledge & I believe he's heading to the states very soon & if you're lucky he could put one in his luggage for you.
  8. I wouldn’t say $4700 is too high for a 2004 Ballabio. Go for it !
  9. Unkempt posted this on another website; https://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-Moto-Guzzi-V11-Cafe-Sport/153037111703?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908131621%26meid%3D748c7ef39f0141c3ae3ebf440ac0c941%26pid%3D100678%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D153037111703%26itm%3D153037111703&_trksid=p2481888.c100678.m3607&_trkparms=pageci%3Aa7d62faf-632d-11e8-b7c1-74dbd180e438%7Cparentrq%3Aab825ced1630aa146373a2d1fff87292%7Ciid%3A1 2004 Cafe Sport in CA Something I lust after but prefer to remain married. So someone else should grab it.
  10. JRD, I 'persuaded' a few of the knowledgable to show us how to use Guzzidiag & then someone had a carbtune & before you knew it we had a full blown service & tech session. Half way through Nick had been watching what was going on, particularly when the consensus was having the CO setting at zero, he mention his bike was running roughly. The mob turned on him ! The computer was plugged in to his beautiful machine & the CO setting adjusted. I hadn't heard how it ran as a result but hadn't heard anything negative either. Are you going to the SSR this year ?
  11. The important part is clearly in focus on my screen ! = )
  12. "Rocketron" > Sounds like fun but will I be shot if I show up on a Tonti? I'll be creating a diversion with my splinter group of Griso's so you can slip in unobserved. If anyone questions you distract them by putting a beer in their hand ! Worked for me = )
  13. Damn Scud, everything just glows in that photo from the green paint to the red porkchop, the cans, rhe skimpy fender & the yellow coils hiding in the background. Stunning ! Think I'll go & wash 'Scarlet'
  14. Saw this on e bay & couldn't find the right thread to put it....... https://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-Moto-Guzzi-V11-Scura/323216451939?hash=item4b4133a963:g:ejQAAOSwn55a2PwL&vxp=mtr
  15. Unkempt, Your avatar address is Southern Wisconsin, have you returned from Germany , or is this just a visit ?
  16. This happened on my 2004 Sport, the internal worm drive had worn through. I did find a replacement speedo which I think Harpers had. However considering the cost, if it happens again I'll get the Speedhut gauges for not much more.
  17. JRD, Does this mean you won't be at the Spine Raid in September ? Are you sellling the Apilia as well ?
  18. Sitting here in the bleachers, it made for a good mystery
  19. Thanks guys. A few bits of information I've learnt in the last few hours. Greyhound will take some freight, but not over the border. The Canadian Post is cheaper than UPS. I like your idea Kiwi Roy but the seller is a Griso rider in Squamish BC, which I think is a bit far from the border. Docc. What can I say...always thinking outside the box
  20. I'm talking with a fellow Guzzi rider who has some wheels for sale. He came back from UPS with a quote, $195 Canadian to ship & $64 Canadian to package the wheels from British Columbia to central Ohio. Seems abit steep to me. Anyone have a cheaper method ? Thanks
