But they tend to not improve the state of the wiring. Only 5V at the starter is even less than mine had when I bought it. Edited April 24 by audiomick 1
Scud Posted Sunday at 12:42 AM Author Posted Sunday at 12:42 AM Picked up the Scura today - same repair for the wiring. The Scura and Nero Corsa have both been sitting a lot due to unreliable starting. Hopefully they will both in reliable service for a while now. 2
gstallons Posted Sunday at 05:39 AM Posted Sunday at 05:39 AM Now , did you do the repairs or someone else ?
Scud Posted Sunday at 12:26 PM Author Posted Sunday at 12:26 PM I took them to a mechanic. I'm not great at electrical trouble-shooting. I had gotten to the point of frustration in my own attempts to fix it - I'd get them going, then that would last for a few rides and the problem would return. And that contributed to them sitting idle, which probably didn't help matters. Now (finally) I feel confident that they will start every time. 2
LaGrasta Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago @Scud I seem to have finally worked out all the bugs in my V11, sounds like you have too. I'm now retired, so even more time to ride. Let's plan something together. We could meet in San Clemente for Cars & Coffee as it's in the middle. 1
LaGrasta Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Hmmm, now that I think about this, @Scud did I meet you by chance a few months ago at C&C and just hadn't realized it was you from the V11 forum?

The long awaited SURFIN' SPINE RAID ! 1
Scud Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago I have not been to Cars & Coffee in San Clemente. I'll send PM re some times for a ride. A San Diego (backcountry) or Sierra Spine Raid would be cool. 1
