Scud
Ah... I missed that. Well, Foto's moved on anyway. For the right price, that bike would clean up pretty easily and it's not missing too many parts.

docc
I seem to recall a small collection of finely fettled V11 available in SoCal . . . http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20113
czakky
Glad to see your shopping for a v11 either way, foto!
vtwins4life
Having just bought a somewhat modded V11 with no records I'd say walk away and find a clean one. What looks like a $3.5k bike could quickly become a $5k one, or more. VT4L
Chuck
Brad's aware of that..it's not his first rodeo. Once in a great while you'll find a steal. I know a guy that bought a low mileage silver V11 for 2K. Of course, he'll put some money and a fair amount of time in it sorting it out, but that was a buy. Really, a Greenie for 3.5 isn't bad.. czakky
I think I picked mine up for 2.5k, with running issues. Without this forum I’d have been waaay over my head and at least a grand into it.
fotoguzzi
there's also this one nearby, https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/mcy/d/2003-moto-guzzi-v11-cafe/6358296658.html I'm not too jazzed about the price and it looks half painted with the black in front and red back.. does that look like stock colors for a '03 Sport? It looks like a standard sport color, except for the red rear body section. And it's not a real cafe sport. I think he means cafe racer style. Chuck
Certainly not a cafe sport.
luhbo
Wild mixture. Looks like a silver KR tank and a repainted seat base without stickers. Another resurrection project I'd say.

All the features of a "hold over" 2002: black crinkle, angle driven white face Veglia, chin pad tank with external pump and filter. Curious "performance exhaust" with the header pipes and crossover changed, but the heavy stock LaFranconi canisters. A crash recovery?
Chuck
Yeah, I'd say crash.
