Aluminium...

Yea Mick, AL YOU MIN UM instead of the correct AL YOU MIN E UM. Butchering the Kings English.....again.

Like people using the expression "I couldn't care less" and substituting/abbreviating it to "I could care less" which has the opposite meaning entirely. Annoying.

I figured I would find out how much shipping that engine would be to Oregon. Almost 1k. Not worth it to me. If I lived closer I would be there with my truck.

I have been trying to call Piaggio in NY, but no one ever picks up. Can't leave a message because mailbox is full. I wanted them to run the number on the engine to get the skinny on it.

No matter now. I just have to keep my eye out for another $1500 greenie.

What seems to be a very nice low mileage Cafe Sport on Seattle CL asking $4700

Too much of a Luddite to include the link

Very curious what these two might actually sell for, if y'all don't mind posting the outcomes . . .

I'll be following this too. People say the market has softened. Nice Coppas don't come along too often. This will be a good barometer of the market, at least for this model. The last two went for 10,500 about a year ago and 10,200 about 2 or 3 years ago.

Nice one. Sometimes they slip through the hole at auctions. I bought mine that way for around $7k.

I know the Coppa Italias get a lot of attention, but to me that red LeMans is the better value. It's only bid up to about $3,500 right now, with a day left in the auction.

This is now the calm before the storm. As is usually the case, the last five minutes will tell the tale.

I was wrong about the Coppa that sold in '21. It went for a tad under 10k, not 10,200.

The Coppa, or the Le Mans?

I assume the Coppa, but one never knows. :huh2:
