FWIW , this automotive forum I am on , these members really harp about using the specific viscosity with engines because of VVL , VVT and DOD in engines . This is discussed the Nth degree. The only reason I do it (recommended viscosity) is to cover my A$$.

Glucosamine? I cannot close my pointer and middle fingers on both hands. Like laying them on the levers is as closed as I can get them. This started about five years ago and I thought I was having a reaction to the brand of oils I was working with every day. I now "know" it is arthritis and I don't like it .

Different brands of paint matures differently. Same as w/hair on people's head.

docc , off the top of my head , these switches : oil press. neut. , etc. are n.c. (normally closed) switches. Wiring diagrams should display n.c. or n.o. next to the switch for clarity and understanding of the circuit. MG does things "their way".

The red/green wire that had a wire nut at the end , did you connect it to anything ?

The bulb is in this circuit. IDK what r value is for the bulb , BUT i am happy.

Looking at this simplified diagram , you should be able to disconnect the two wire connector (blue wire & red/black wires) and apply 12v and - to these two wires and the gen light turn on. This will test the bulb and wiring circuit.

SamP , did you reconnect the red/green wire to the V reg ? Also , there should be continuity between the 2 pin connector consisting of a blue wire and a red/black on the regulator wiring harness of the bike wiring harness.

Absolutely ! SamP forgive our zeal but we want you to get this fixed and operating correctly. Moto Guzzi will make you an electrical tch whether you want it or not !

I have said this once before. I think EVERY V11 has their own wiring harness and ign. key.
