My mistake, looking back through my orders from my 20-year overhaul of the 2004 Ballabio, Powerhouse UK is where I got the caliper kits for front and rear calipers. Gotham Cycles (Ducati/Brembo parts) is where I got the master cylinder kits for clutch (12mm), front brake (16mm same as used on Ducati) and rear brake. (some are the same parts as used on early Ducati 916 I think or at least use the same internal parts). You will see all the Brembo parts (with Ducati references parts on line). If rebuilding the rear brake master be sure to order the 90-degree fitting with O-ring (comes separate) as you will want to remove it from the master cylinder to make sure no bit or residue in there. That is where mine had plugged up, leaving back brake rubbing without me knowing, destroying pads, plastic pad cover, etc. On the clutch and front brake master cylinder I add a bleed banjo fitting where the brake line attaches to master cylinder. Makes it easier to ensure no trapped air. Gotham sells these as well. The parts are not too expensive, especially the rear master. I had also bought an original Moto Guzzi supplied Brembo complete front master cylinder with all the attachment, including lever, adjuster, etc., prior to finding the rebuild kits were available through Gotham. . On the shelf for a spare now. Hope this helps.3 points

Odyssey ODS-AGM15L ("PC545") arrived at 12.68v, just above the recommended 12.65v charge threshold. Discharged with a 55 watt lamp to 12.18v and charged with 10 amps to 15.0v (only a few minutes). Enersys Optimizer for two hours stabilized at 13.41v. Installed in mySport and discharged with lights to 12.40v. Then 24 hours on the Enersys Optimizer to "bulk charge" and stabilize at 13.56v. I'm calling this new battery "conditioned."2 points

15.85mm= 5/8" . I am speaking as far as I can go on the subject w/o tearing something down . You will have to do this . IDK if there are casting #s on this anywhere or not ? This front braking system is expanding 8 pistons so I can see the need for a large bore to push more fluid .1 point

I should have deleted this. After looking a bit I determined these would be to long for my use and went a different way. Thanks for the interest! Brian1 point

Those are for the older round reservoir integrated masters. I do like to see all the parts myself, but some bits like the handlebar master cylinders are less expensive than expected so I may just buy new ones.1 point

All these brake parts on these bikes are Brembo. You should be able to find a Brembo dealer/vendor that can hook you up w/all the rebuild kits you will need to do this. I would do everything so you will be finished and not have any worries. I am not sure about the hydraulic clutch master/slave parts. Also, Ducati (along w/most Italian brands) use Brembo on their bikes, maybe you can get some help there. This is the first day, so maybe someone will come through w/a good lead. When you go back together use Raybestos brake assy. lube and ALWAYS use new DOT4 fluid. Brake fluid is extremely hygroscopic so always use new fluid. Purchase small bottles so you can dump the rest in your car , truck or whatever donor you have .1 point

. Just made reservations for Friday and Saturday nights in our "usual" room, 301. Have a moto-spot reserved, too, but may be caging it with Kathi. I have hernia surgery -- my sixth! -- on 7 August. Yes, I am obviously defective. My first such surgery was after my first unplanned dismount ... an honorable "I laid 'er down" -- from a tricycle in San Antonio in 1949! All since have been from lifting things I should have known better to call for help, but, well, didn't. So, as for riding a day or two short of a month after procedure, not sure surgeon will "let" me (or that I'll care about that ), but it may be an issue of reality then, something I do care about. Even if I do ride, Kathi will cage it. I'll store the (selected!) Guzzi in Hiawassee and we'll head out on lengthy "Visit Old Friends in the South" tour. On the way back, I'll retrieve the Guzzi and we'll see how tall the grass is back here by our return. Be all of that as it may, we look forward to our reunion at SSR XXI. Bill1 point

A little minor maintenance…decided to install new ignition coils…had them in the box for a year now…and since the tank was off…might as well. No difference vs the originals so that’s actually good! Ran a wire for my TomTom under the airbox to the battery since I had the tank off, I had an extra mount so now fully wired. Resealed the fuel sender unit at the tank with some Hylomar blue…no more leaks ( last leak was two years ago)…had some very minor drips over the last couple of weeks. Did a valve adjustment…a lot quieter…would like it quieter still but will run as is for now. Bike running beautifully…out for a ride with friend today…lent him my Griso.1 point

Before the garage spaces were "subdivided", Guzzis still made friends . . .1 point

Might have to "rope off" those spaces as there is no protocol, otherwise. Josh and I have one garage space. Because our Sports are close friends and don't mind . . .1 point

In! I booked 3 garage spaces because, well, the neighborhood has been getting crowded the past couple years.1 point
