  1. Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I have been nosing through this forum since I started looking into getting a V11 and have to say there is a lot of info available. I’m not new to Guzzi’s, had a couple of Tonti’s in the past and had a 8v Griso Tenni for about 10 years. Then bought a V85tt travel, which was a great bike to ride but the allroad theme is not really for me. Then sold that one and got a RnineT last year, after I did a test ride on my dads RnineT. Have to say that I really enjoyed the smoothness of the boxer. But then again, it’s not a Guzzi. while browsing the internet I found a V11 Lemans Rosso Corsa for sale, went to have a look and was impressed with the state of the 19 year old bike. So I bought it. currently in the garage are a 850 Lemans, R nine T and the V11 lemans. I will be looking into getting the shifter upgrade and rusty picket roper plate. mand I will have a look into uploading some pictures of the bikes. greetings E from the Netherlands.

  5. Hi Scud, the handlebars are original and the fairing is Stucchi. Pretty rare one with the round headlight.

  6. Be certain your adjustment did not defeat the clutch switch activation. You should be able to put your ear to the switch at the lever pivot and hear a tiny click-click as the lever is barely pulled and released. Poor connection inside the Run Switch could be problematic. In that case, cycle the Run Switch sharply several times during start attempts. If she starts, then open the Run Switch and clean/treat the contacts with something magical like Caig DeOxit Gold®. Magical. The chance this is a component failure, or anything more than a connection issue, is rather low.

  7. MojoFuzzi Hey man… welcome aboard! In six months time it’ll be interesting if you’re as into the boxer ‘smoothness’ or jiving that V11’s syncopating jazz Six months should do… 😗

  11. Mate, you can't judge the sound of anything going by a film on youtube that was probably recorded with a telephone. Going by the look of the pipes, they're probably too loud for my taste. It's nice that his blinkers work, but if my horn (the one on the V11 Le Mans) sounds like his does in the video, I will definitely be fitting a proper one instead.

  14. best forget the #5 relay for now, I miss-read your symptoms. I agree with docc on those bullet connectors as a place to start.

  15. The clutch was pulled in when I tried to start the bike.

  17. Worth checking the Clutch Switch "bullet connectors." (Could be the clutch microswitch, itself.) Make sure the bike is in neutral with the Neutral Light lit, Ignition Switch and Run Switch on, pull the clutch lever in and hold the Starter Button while rotating the bars slowly back and forth, lock-to-lock. If the starter suddenly activates, the Bullet Connectors are suspect (common).

  19. Okay, fronts measure M8 x 1.25 and are 20 mm long. Rears are also M8 x 1.25, with a 20 mm long threaded portion, then a 4.5 mm long shoulder that is 10 mm in diameter. If that jogs anyone’s memory! Easier to just contact Race Ti? I will be forced to buy more titanium if I go that route……….you know, to err, justify the shipping.

  23. No. The dual disc sounds more 'troubled' than the single and a bit louder imo. The aftermarket RAM single plate is somewhat less noisy than the oem single and operates buttery smooth.

  24. The racket differs. Dual disc rattles disengaged (lever pulled in) and the single rattles engaged (lever released). Either way, there is "The Rattle Within " . . .
