  1. Thanks docc..I did loosen some of the connections ..but not at the heads..sounds like I have a little more to do..it was still pretty stressed ..more than I liked.
  2. I'm glad you mentioned this..I went out and looked at my Rosso Corsa after reading it today ,,,One side was an 'Inny" and the other side was an "Outty" I guess the P.O. did that..Now they are both "Inny's"...My OCD feels SOOOO much better..!! How could I ever have missed that?...I'm slipping!
  3. Mine or outside for now ..but that may change today!
  4. The exhaust is just the regular Mistral Aluminum that has been highly buffed..once in a while I use a little "Mothers" on them to keep them up.
  5. My Greenie has an LED Headlight that the PO "Scud" installed in it, I'm not sure what it is but it works awesome!! Everything is contained inside the headlight bucket.
  6. I know it wont be a fix in every case but I have used these with great success on Aprilias with Ohlins that were weeping..for the money not much to lose. https://sealmate.net/products/seal-mate?variant=1414409453587&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItrrnq6aW6gIVRdbACh2FrwWsEAQYAiABEgIK2_D_BwE
  7. Here are a couple pictures I just took..the Rosso Corsa tank is definitely shaped different than either the 2000 sport or the 2001 Rosso Mandello..those two appear to be the same. Maybe its because their is no provision for a " Chin Pad" on the Corsa...the tank has more of an indentation where I am holding the pen and rises up a bit higher and the "nose seems narrower . My two cents!
  8. I’ll take a couple more pics.. but even sitting next to each other they seem different.. When you sit on the Corsa the tank seems longer and narrower at the top... maybe its just the paint.. I’ll have to take a closer look. Cheers!
  9. Thanks Kane, you know when I first sat on the bike the tank looks different to me from either one of my other V-ll’s and I commented on that to the seller.. I’ll have to look closer today. I know what you mean though.
  10. Sure..sorry about that..I have it in my hand now....the exact Overall Height Dimension's are..The upper is 10mm high and the lower is 11 mm high for an overall height of 21mm Sorry for all he disjointed posts on this simple thing..I'll do better next time..Cheers!
  11. Today I realized I have used these for over 45 years...I have some "good" Snap On digital calipers..but it seems whenever I need them the battery is dead..So far the battery has never let me down on these..:-) )
  12. My mistake on the first post NOT a 30mm wrench...should be 25mm...( Tell myself DO NOT post after consuming mass quantities of Irish whiskey and Guinness)
  13. outside of the round part is 30mm..25mm spanner..the thing doesn't require much torque seemed fine :-)
  14. Sorry I've been away nut is 23mm x 1.0 thread...same as stem...19mm on the inside cheers
  15. My guy couldn't find the "drawing" but sent me this..:-) I couldn't find my drawing, but as I remember it, the outside diameter is 30mm, 1.180", I added 10mm to the length, the thread size is 23mm X 1.0mm, the through hole where the wrench flats are is 19mm, .750", and the wrench flats are 25mm across.
  16. I see the Forceps..Where's the Scalpel ...?? :-)
  17. I'll ask my friend for a drawing, I just gave him the measurement's I wanted ...He probably has a nice drawing..he's that sort!
  18. Nice clean work docc !!
  19. I bought a Zumo 396LMT-S for mine, the screen is a good size for me and it does everything I need it to do..and only a power cord to deal with..I attached the power to the Key operated parking light source and then cut it about 18 inches from the end installed an AMP connector just behind the gauges and top triple so I could easily remove the whole set up when not in use. I Had a friend machine a new Billet Steering Stem nut with a 19mm open top and enough space to machine to get a 30 mm wrench on it to tighten. I found this Ram mount on the UK site " The Visor shop", I don't see them even listed anywhere in the USA...it took about 10 days to receive it. All went together very solid and I like it because it doesn't get in the way of the ignition and is right in the line of sight with the gauges
  20. There're like those front mounted fender mirrors on cars from the 60's.....:-)
