  1. With that many mods I would probably take it to a tuner who can create a custom map. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hot hot hot

It's been over 100˚F the last two days. Too hot for recreational riding. It's supposed to cool off to riding temps in a few days.
  3. Do you just have one bike? I assume with 1.4 billion miles on the V11 you must.
  4. The Norton is a pretty close comparison to the V11. Similar weight, Norton a little less, similar HP, Guzzi ahead here, and similar handling. Norton gets marks for latest Ohlins. $20k vs $4k... Another similar bike there was a Kawasaki ZRX1200. Guzzi has it on weight but gives up a little HP. Suspension on the Guzzi is probably better. Prices about the same. Both green!
  5. I actually got to ride the bike for once. We have Two Wheel Tuesday events here, 1st Tuesday is at a vintage collection location. Smaller collection but the quality is ahem, high. This last Tuesday (3rd Tuesday of the month) is at another private collection. Nearly all Japanese and pretty desirable bikes. Anyways, a few fun bikes showed up.
  6. The real downfall is that not everyone is funny.

    Hot hot hot

So are like the sidewalks off limits for riding on? Just saying...

Just how hot was it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Seems suspiciously cheap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Maybe so but is this the part you want to skimp on?
  11. Have you notices that some cars give you good buffer behind you now, like when pulling up to a stoplight?
  12. Yes, but I would only touch up the affected area and not try to spray the whole thing.
  13. It shows the number of days you'd LIKE to ride. In Oregon we'd LIKE to ride every day, and aside from some icy days in the winter you CAN ride year 'round. It just means that Oregon riders either are a lot tougher than Arizona riders, or just have better reading comprehension.
  14. I got 'em from AliExpress.com (China) I buy mufflers and other motorcycle bits from that site all the time, and the prices are good. BLIGHT Do you have a link to the specific item? I assume they aren't designed for the V11? Did you have to cut the original parts?
  15. Is that rust? Headlights aren't chrome. They aren't a high wear part so they should be available used.
  16. Where did the mufflers come from?
  17. The fuel pump on my Triumph was loud. The one on the Guzzi is barely noticeable. I want to be able to hear it when it's working but that about it.
  18. https://www.lemaymarymount.org/marymount-motorcycle-week I'm headed up Friday night and will ride the trials on Saturday (not on a Guzzi, heck, they never made a trials bike!). Great bike show and as a bonus you can see the car collection. If you're not familiar with the Lemay collection it was so large it was split into two separate museums. Oh, and there may have been some family bickering too. But back to the point, with the bike thing as the other Lemay (by the Tacoma Dome) dead, this is the only Lemay motorcycle event left. Or at least the biggest one.
  19. I'm not sure what kind of answer you expect. I doubt most people would fit a smaller seal and be able to tell you what might happen. That means that you can and let us know how it goes. Is finding the right size that hard?
  20. I don't know if the V11 tank will work with graphics, it's quite, ahem, bulky. You'd almost want to fade the stripes before it get to the bottom. Regardless it would make an interested option.
