  1. And I heard a familiar crispy motor . Cheers Tom.
  2. Follow Scud's advice. Done it both ways, taking manifold of, and carefully getting bolts back include L of swearing. And I put the boot in a kettle of HOT water, way more doable then. Dish washing soap works for me as lubricant. Stein Dinse or TLM have parts, and probably in your own neighborhood. Cheers TOM.
  3. No sensible answer . Cheers Tom.
  4. It's a reason for that, winning I mean. Going to Assen again this year. Cheers Tom.
  5. Or as mentioned Many times, a small unseen build with a direct regulator. 30amp fuse on holiday. Worth it if it’s a keeper. Cheers Tom.

Saw a carbon cover a couple of days ago on Kleinanziegen.de Cheers Tom.
  7. Since you already have some thoughts about it, do the right thing. Turbulence is a nasty ting at speed. Cheers Tom.
  8. Make a good ground cable from regulator to the engine while your having a little inspection. More options available if desired . Cheers Tom.
  9. Put new correct good orings in for good oil presure. They are located in front of your intermediate plate. Cheers Tom.
  10. Thats why I like to check/upgrade whatever possible before road trips . Cheers Tom.
  11. Jens had to change the company name from Guzzi parts to V2 parts . They are the correct slave cyl with correct travel. Cheers Tom.
  12. Dealer said 500+ $ for internal pump 8years ago. Bought 2 Quantum pumps for 150$. NO problem so far. Cheers Tom.
  13. Not saying you shoud try it, water in a good pump can with fine spraying possibilitys does for sure the cleaning job well. Look how clean a cylinder look if you have to change a headgasket. Yes I have done it a couple of times. See what comes out of the muffler of an old tired V8. Caution is #1, we don't like bend rods. Seems your bike is on the run for quite some miles, so woudn't think to much carbon build. Thinking you are trying to get the best gas available all the time. Did the heads on my 1100 Sport at 95000km, not much carbon. Some here like sea foam treatment. Cheers Tom.
  14. Last summer a guy up here had clutch trouble with his V11. It was the slave cyl. Visible grazes on the piston. Flat on the back side, doesn't need much room to remove. Not many around, found 2 in Denmark last year. Rivets let go on my Rosso Corsa clutch = no clutch. Changing the clutch is like having desert compared to interweb and likes. Cheers Tom.
