  1. Docc, FTR1200 def has more HP, but both it & the V11 Sport are on the heavy side of 450 lbs, so they are more a like than you would think. Steve has a pipe & “secret sauce” map so it’s righteous, but not a superbike.
  2. Docc, On Saturday, some buddies from IMRG Chattanooga are going to ride up and see the geese ride. Steve, will probably be on his Indian FTR1200 up to take a spin on the Cherohala Skyway to Deal's Gap behind my Rosso. I think they are intrigued to hear 90 degree Italian opera rumbling out of our bikes.
  3. Docc, does a Triumph Daytona Super III "With a Spine Frame" qualify for a Spine Raid Rally?
  4. Docc, do you have a schedule of rides and locations, roads etc for the South N' SpineRaid 2022?
  5. This version is beautiful w/Ohlins and the non-crinkle engine paint.
  6. Just ran into this on the internet. https://picclick.com/Moto-Guzzi-V11-Sport-KR-Bj-2000-384510148867.html
  7. I currently have Mistral exhausts with crossover X pipe. Agostini says you must run a catalytic converter, where would I source one? Has anyone ran into this issue? - no clamp gasket necessary !- the catalytic converter 300001236 must only be used from 2003 V11 models, as these also had a catalytic converter as standard! (1 catalytic converter per rear silencer!)
  8. Has anyone ever used Agostini Silencer Kit like this one? ....
  9. Docc, I didn't really see in the that he was running intake pods with the side covers . I also agree the general shape of the bike looks worthy to buy, just named wrong.
  10. Docc, I pulled the tank.
  11. I bought a new hose and "Quality" hose clamps from MG Cycle. But did have to work on getting the clamp location set correctly under the spine frame where there is plenty of room to work.
  12. https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2003-Moto+Guzzi-V11+COPPA+ITALIA-5021950421 I've never seen this "rare color combination" called a Coppa Italia. Is it a parts bin special?
  13. So I went on a spirited ride the other weekend, winding up the Goose 5k-8k+ rpm curve to curve engine braking to set up the turn speed . It couldn't have been better except when I look down and saw engine oil dripping from the top of the transmission area. It ended up being the crankcase breather hose, cracked right above the hose clamp. My theory is the clamp had walked up to the end of the internal pipe and was clamping too tight around the original hose, until it inevitably cut the hose. The spirited riding just exposed the issue, I guess better off a few counties away from home instead of on the Cherohala Skyway.
